Before I get hated on, I have nerve damage in my right hand.... So I use a Windows XBX Controller and it worked fine with SA until about a week ago, now in settings the controller list is empty and it does not respond to commands, my character has not changed at all and been a live for 2 weeks, I can play Arma 2 DayZ fine and other Steam, Origin games fine, I have drivers and OS detects it fine when I test it in settings. Has anyone else experienced this and has updates removed it or something? Thank you.

LOL - Sorry Ultimate - I need sleep, Borderlands all niter I tried to say Ultimate - I have no choice but it works fine for me, I haven't tried it it without a controller so I really don't know the difference, they say FPS is slower on controller and it doesn't react as fast but playing BF4 and COD I do just fine on reaction time, I can turn on peeps :)

@ Katana = Thank you, it really does stink and I hope it was by accident, I really like the game and there is no way I can play on Keyboard and mouse, someone suggest Xpaddler which works with controllers disable on all games - I guess it is worth the 10,00 to try, in case anyone else is interested if SA never returns Controller function - http://steamcommunity.com/app/221100/discussions/0/648814842611263272/

As of today 6/27/14 my XBOX Controller no longer works in SA, I can use it fine in Arma 2 DayZ and It was working fine in SA, did updates change something, when I select Devices it is not listed, nothing is :( I have issues due to shell fragments. Does anyone else have controller issues after the update? TY

Good day all... Hope you all are enjoying the game as much as I... (Except Server Hoppers) I searched the forum and didn't find anything on this - I found a Ammo Box, I had 3 full 30/30 clips that I emptied and added the rounds in the box so I can have room for more loot, now I need the rounds and cannot figure out how to get them out, I have 1 empty coupled clip and when I right click on the ammo box all i have is INSPECT option :( Many thanks

I am wondering if there are any Downloads of a Custom built Tavi map with AI's and BAF, camps, auto fuel and so on, all the goodies for a DayZ ST Server, I am new to Private Hive Administration and been to many sites and how to modify and seems too complicated for a Wookie like me, hoping someone may have a sweet Map already made and could export for me, I could pay if needed. Am I missing something? ever since I updated to 0.9 I get Ban Request Timed Out, Player Request Timed Out, I have to disconnect and reconnect like 5 times before I get players to load and the Bans never do, I use Dayz.st and never had any issues prior, is there a place to download older versions? :( Thank you

I know the guns are suppose to be identical besides the flashlight and camo but why is it so much easier to find then the M4A1 cco? My opinion only I seem to find it more accurate for head-shots on Zeds, also seems to me the distance has better accuracy also, I set up shop in a big white barn with both guns for fun and at distance I was getting better head-shots with M4A3 - Anyone have an opinion? or find same results as I? The DZDB Map thingy has it as a better chance of find then the M4A1 cco which I find correct but I think it should be opposite. You get the pretty color and a Deathlight all in one. Either way I love it and found it to be one of my Favs. Thanks for reading my blabber mouth :)

Sorry to confuse everyone, I based the difference off sitting in a barn and pegging Zeds with Head shots, not from Military specs, or Wiki's - The M4A3 had less drop shooting distance then the M4A1, Things that may have effected my decision could have been, Wind blowing faster or harder, Zed was shorter then the other, Zed may have walked in a dip in the field (LOL) But over all I had better head shots with the M4A3 without over or under aiming, aldo in Game I would rather have the M4A3 then the M4A1 (Unless it was the SD) Just a personal preference.... Being an Admin on DayZ.ST Server myself I have band for about the same reason - When asked to stop Spamming Chat and getting foul language back or being a smart azz = Ban - This is one of the many reasons I rent my own Servers..... On the other hand I don't believe in banning for PvP even against me, I feel the spawning fresh every once in a while is fun, which is why I play DayZ in the first place...

So I just purchased 2 Asus VG 27in 3d Monitors and it is my first time gaming with 2, my questions is how can I use them both while playing DayZ on just one, It seems I have to go to Gear, Option Screen or Map to get my cursor to move to the other monitor and the game minimizes, I am not a hardcore PC gamer so sorry for my stupidity in advanced - By the way, they rock :) Thanks in Advance

Spawning on Beach, Or BattlEye Kicks You for no reason, or Game Freezes at Load Screen? Read Me (My Opinion Only) Make sure your BattlEye is up to date by downloading the BattlEye client at BattlEye Client and placing it in your BattlEye folder in the "Expansion" folder of your Arma2-OA main directory. Use Dayz Commander (I find it easier and better the Six Updater or Play with Six) as the launcher and make sure you are updated by checking the Install/Update top right corner of Commander; I choose the update that matches most Servers which it will tell what most Servers are running. Now close the Updater section only (Look lower right) and Search for Servers, you have many options on the left side of Commander, now look for any that are highlighted white, check the version and Beta to make sure it matches yours, if it doesn’t and you try and join it, it may spawn you on the Beach or Insta Kill or Freeze on Load. Now that you have figured out what Version of Server to Select launch it, once in the lobby wait, at the left lower corner you will see the BattlEye launch, still wait till you see 3 lines last one stating your GUID, this can take up to 20-30 secs or even more, if you do not wait it will 80% of the time freeze you at loading because BattlEye has kicked you inside the game because it wasn’t finished scanning your file or updating it when you tried to join. If you select the Same Version and Beta as your character you and wait for BattlEye in Lobby you should be fine These steps have worked for me100% time and should you too Hope this helps
