No need to be a smart-arse. I am very apathetic towards whatever teamspeak server you use, surely you could join the dots though and figure out that the best place to report incidents would be with the people who actually run the servers, rather than the spammy mess that is the dayz forum, that we hardly visit?

Yes i have a very extensive scripts.txt that I use. I will not distribute it however as that will render it completely worthless except for weapon classnames. from memory, the command comes under something like "kia_hmmwv_driver" which is an animation that is triggered when dying in a vehicle. instead, just use 1 hmmwv which will allow you to see when illegitamte hmmwv's are being spawned and disregard all the animation changes. If you use a parser, you will be able to filter all those out anyway so it won't make a huge difference. A lot of the time the only way to be sure a script block in battleye will not affect legitmate users is by testing with a "1" first. If you look through and find that the line is not being triggered, you can change it to a "5" and test again. I generally test script changes on 1 server before rolling it out to the rest of them. Some things I just know are illegitmate, e.g. the famous ammo.sqf - didn't even bother to test that one.

Your scripts.txt is massively bloated. You do not need 10 mi17 lines, nor EVERY addweaponcargo/addbackpackcargo line either... You also have lots of other double-ups. e.g.: 5 TT650C 5 TT650_Base 5 TT650_Civ 5 TT650_Gue 5 TT650_Ins Instead, just use 5 TT650 5 mi17 5 addweaponcargo [ 5 addweaponcargo[ 5 addbackpackcargo [ 5 addbackpackcargo[ 5 bmp2 etc saves a lot of wasted lines.... Also, do not put "5 hmmwv" in there either as it it used in a death animation from vehicles. People will be getting kicked for this. Please test your scripts.txt before you go distributing it to people with even less knowledge of how it works...

These are people can be hard to find but not impossible, and can be banned through looking for a void in the script logs. It will need to be matched up with BE logs from BEC though, and not all servers run that (I doubt it's run on this server tbh). -

There is a difference between getting kicked for a "Game Hack" and getting kicked for a script detection. If you were kicked for a game hack then expect a global ban soon. If you were kicked for a script restriction, stop using scripts...

Australian Servers For Sale?

I'm sorry, but where are you getting your Australian based prices from? We have spoken to about 7 different companies, we have also taken on a large sponsor who gives us a significant discount. We even spoke to other companies who are buying their servers for more than we pay. If you can seriously provide those sort of prices with decent specs and enough bandwidth we will migrate all 5 servers to you straight away. Otherwise, we are actually in the process of trying to setup servers for other groups, however because we have 0 interest in profit we would make about $20 from every $400 that we get paid, which pretty much just covers... well almost nothing really. If you could pm me with your server specs, bandwidth and prices (AU based) I would be very interested in what you have to offer. Cheers, -

Australian Server Rentals

5-10mb/s isn't realistic for 40-50 slots. we eat up about 25-35mbps with two 50 slot servers, I would go for a minimum 10/15mbit per 40/50 slot server. Also the "1 server per core" isn't really realistic either. On one of our boxes, we run 3x50 slot servers each with one core (E3-1240). The difference though is we run the 4th core for our OS, firedeamon, batch files, log parser, log compression (our logs get big.. 1GB per server per day pretty much), scheduled tasks, RDP session etc etc. If we ran a server on each of the 4 cores you would struggle to do anything on it as it would be using 100% CPU usage 16 hours a day. -

"@hive" is just a folder name. I could put the best hacks in the world on there, rename the folder to "@hive" and you would be none the wiser. -
I'm just having an estimated guess here, but it seems there is a network outage somewhere which is causing some routing issues. From the server, we can ping fine to most areas, but a ping to NZ is 150+ms which is way beyond normal.

hahah enigma, that guy was pretty cool. Hung out on our teamspeak a bit. He was banned from our servers some time ago though... Spawned a crate from memory but nothing as drastic as an Apache. -
*sigh* there's nothing wrong with it. It's an arma 2 mod just like any other with the only difference being a central hive (it's not the first mod to do this btw but it is certainly the biggest). If they have made their own database then good on them. There is nothing to "pirate" as DayZ is a mod.

AusArma currently runs ANZ1-5 and is the longest running DayZ host in Australia and New Zealand. ANZ1 & ANZ2 were the 10th and 11th DayZ servers to ever be setup! We have a dedicated team of very experienced admins who are available most times during the day on our teamspeak server.
