As far as i know, he should try to connect to a server running an older DayZ version. And after that again to an up to date server, he should spawn at the cost.

Actually you can mute a player by pressing "M" and choose "players" on the top left. Now you see a list of the players on the server and surprise there is a mute button.

The giant advantage of the ghillie is that you don't see the backpack. And by the way its a difference whether you are a moving object with or without high contrast to your environment. -
Identifying shooting direction

Do you realy think, that after being hit by a bullet, you have the patience to determine from which direction you where hit. Just imagine a bullet crushs through your leg. How do you know it was coming from in front or behind of you? Well you could look at the wound, or may be you were teared down in one direction. But most obvious would be the sound of the shot being fired, to have a vague imagination of the shooters position. Fortunately I have no such experience, but I don't think that what you have in mind is realistic. -
Banned for spawning vehicles on US135

Was banned from LU392 just a few minutes ago. Don't know what happend. Was on a deerstand and got the message "Battleye banned". A few minutes before that I was kicked from the server with know explanation. Now every time I try to reconnect, I get the message "battleye banned". Other servers seem to work.

Hunting Knife as a Weapon

I agree with you that there should be much more melee weapons, it would just be realistic to see all the knifes, pickaxes, spades and sledgehammers being the standard weapons of a fresh survivor. But i don't think that a chainsaw would serve very well as a silent weapon. ;) -

And if you don't like to install and use additional software, just try the "mklink" command http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NTFS_symbolic_link. It's easy to use and you have more control over the process. -
You would need some kind of evidence that the character was actually killed. Some kind of database with access for players to verify, and to use it for tracking down the target. Sounds like fun to me, but don't know if it would be worth the effort. And what do you think will happen to you, when the assasinated player finds out that you put a bounty on his head?

I suggest the construction of a wall at the border of the map, where the vegetation ends and a huge area with empty hills and plains is starting. I have read that despite of the last patches, there is still the possibility to save vehicles outside the border for several days. So maybe know you think that I am too lazy to go looking for them in the mentioned area and am just frustrated by not finding those vehicles. Well that’s not true, I already had a lot of fun with them and my friends and me are still finding them even inside the map, but what I want to achieve with this suggestion is, that all the stuff that is supposed to enrich the action and gameplay keeps available in this “normal” area. When I am thinking of such a wall, it could possible look like this from the movie doomsday: The wall should be high and solid enough, that you can’t climb over it or even destroy it with satchel charges. It could be explained by an attempt to contain the infection. This could also add some claustrophobic aspects. To prevent helicopters and boats of leaving the “zone”, there could be a warning to return in several seconds or being killed by some kind of anti air/boat weapon. So what do you think about this? I have to admit that English is not my mother language and have used the search function but didn’t find something relevant. So today we found a bus outside the map and drove several kilometers straight into the "desert". Is there some kind of limitation to this area? Did anyone ever reach an end end of this giant vehicle hiding place? -

Of course, some giant mountain range could also do the job. I have no idee what would be easier to implement. -
Vehicles outside map boundaries

What about a big reinforced wall on the end of the vegetation. So you couldn't walk over, or destroy it. And for those helicopters, there could be a warning that they will be destroyed in a couple of seconds, if they won't return. This could be explained, by an attempt to contain the infection like in serveral zombie movies. Of course the boats could get the same warning. So we could keep all the vehicles in side our lovely sanbox and have all fun with it. :D
