Any type of player interaction really requires this. Also it seems to me loot spawns are better in the coastal main towns than most other places, especially non-military. -
I can tell which servers have 3rd person, is there also one of those acronyms that corresponds to whether or not highlighting a character gives you the green name popping up? Also, is there a notation for if the map shows where you are or not or do you have to just join a server to figure that out? Thanks, -Cragzeek

Try to look at it from the perspective of a person who wants to play the part of the survivor. They may not want hand-holding, they may just want the tools and incentive structure (that a sandbox game ultimately should offer though NOT prescribe) to play their game in a co-operative way.

Happens to me a lot. I don't know what you are supposed to do at that point except switch servers, especially when you know its not that a player looted the area its just that there WAS no loot there (not even an empty tin can for your time). -

I've encountered my share of hackers but I play fairly regularly and most servers most of the time are fine. 99.9 percent? Get real. There is no way you or anyone else experiences hacking that frequently and across that many servers. -
Next time just hit respawn.

I find zeds to be incredibly stupid in this patch. They may have a larger aggro radius but I can kite them incredibly easily and LoS them around buildings all day long. I run around elektro and churno with no worries about zeds. Kinda messes with immresion I must say. Oh and there have been a huge amount of servers I've joined where large groups of zombies are bugged out and stationary. -

Only the QQ-storm posts are really trying to say we should "punish" banditry. The real constructive component is saying that the incentive structure is wildly skewed towards banditry, which kind've makes this game less of a sandbox and forces one play style. IMHO Zombies should be harder, weapons/ ammo should be scarcer, and with dc'ing fixed I think that would make the incentives more even for noobs. -

This is why I play. I think its easy to get frustrated and lose your link with your character and become more interested in trolling around, but its so much less fun than actually having a goal and a theme to your adventure and pursuing it. -

The part where you got it right was where you said that this style of banditry has forced a sandbox game into a singular playstyle. Sadly I don't think many of the flamers got that far into your post. I don't think anyone who has played this game for a while wants banditry removed, but the stakes should be a little higher for those who want to kill. It should be the harder option not the easier one. I'd still pick it. And I'd enjoy it much more. -
Not the greatest story, but it had more originality than all the twilight retorts. I tried not kos'ing today and had a lotta fun, but most of the time I'm a bandit like you. Screw the haters.
