The first time I met another player in DayZ was near a coastal town, he was chased by Zs and was wielding a hatchet. As it was my first day in the game I ran to him to help him in whatever way I can... so he crippled me with his axe while running past me and used me as zombiebait.

I got 2 pretty nice crossbow kills in my survivor career. The first one was in cherno, some guy was dropping a group of fresh spawns while camping in the church with his AKM, while he was coming to the door to loot the guys I leant in and shot him right in the face with my crossbow. The second one was a close one. My mates and me were in a firefight over a crashed heli, 3 vs 3, the enemy in one of those 2 level redroofed barns, we behind a house. I circled around the barn and managed to kill 2 guys at the 2nd level who were trying to shoot out of this little window. While getting up there to loot them I noticed the guy on the other side of the barn, aimed at him only to hear my rifle going "click click". He shot his whole MP5 SD mag in my direction, dropping me to red hp and broke my legs. While he was reloading I managed to grab the crossbow from the floor and shot him in the head across the whole barn.

My ironsights are way off to the right while wearing warm clothes, tested it with several iron sights. Everything is fine while wearing civilian / ghillie or camo suit but after switching to warm clothes it is really hard to aim without a CCO / Cobra or something.

if you equip the "red" hatchet it will have this "rusted" skin since 1.7.2.5, no idea why the hatchet on the floor has the rusted skin

- if you are running the 1.7.2.5 patch, place half emtpy mags in your backpack before logging out, your magic backpack will refill them while you are sleeping. - EVERY lightsource (flashlights, flares, chemlights, campfires and so on) will only enhance NVGs and not blind them if the lightsource is over ~10m away

Hey, it's too easy atm to get the hero skin. You can just shoot at a buddy, bloodpack him a few times, recieve the new skin and be a bandit in a "hero" skin without problems. To solve this the humanity needs to change not only after a murder but when you shoot at someone. If you deal damage to a survivor / hero you lose humanity (more than you could restore with a bloodbag), that would also prevent "spawn crippling" freshspawns at the coast just to bandage them and apply morphine for "humanity". Getting humanity for bandits should stay the way it is, if you would get humanity for just shooting a bandit would just make the system abuseable again. So?

G17 over M9SD since patch because M9SD mags are scarce and the G17 can use three types of mags and has better ironsight than say the PDW. For mainweapon I always choose an AK type, looking for a AKS-U again for the better ironsights than the AKM / AKS-74 (shorter range is not a problem here, I find it quite difficult to shoot at a distance over 100m with the ironsights) I rarely use sniperrifles, but if I have to I choose a M107, it's easier to get ammo for it.

Yeah Kamenka is soooo bad, you just have 3 civil buildings in kamenka, 7 deerstands and 2 high value barns on your way to zeleno (halfway NW airfield + supermarket) without ever coming close to cherno or elektro ... worst spawn ever

L85 / DMR / M9 SD (3 mags each) ALICE pack 2 bloodbags / 3 morphine Spotter for 3-4 player team (DMR for solo play ... problems)

Had the same "glitch", died on one server reconnected to a low pop server to start over and spawned in full gear, after relogging the next time I spawned at the coast without equip.

Had them both, would use the AKM. Shooting with the Holo at night is horrible :S

getting too much for me right now... - killed by an exploding town a week ago - "visited" the thunderdomes two days ago - instant dropped dead yesterday - saw a jet fly over me this morning - getting killed by a god-mode teleport hacker with AS50 thermal not 10min ago ... (yeah he ported to me after the kill and equipped me with his stuff ... yay) - a friend killed a ghillie guy this afternoon and looted a G36 ... there are no hackers or scripters ! (playing on 40 servers DE most of the time)

Our squad of 4 players decided to have some fun yesterday. We all had camo suits, some high grade mil weapons etc. We went to the barn north of Elektro, shot some snipers and camped there, killing ~ 6 players over like 2h, was alot of fun (not shooting unarmed players, 4/6 kills were banditkills). When all of a sudden the whole server dropped dead and we all get ported to the debug planes, still in camo but without equip (DE 27, 64 / 64 players). So we relogged onto DE2 and everything was fine (still in the barn north of elektro), everybody in the squad still healthy and full equipped, we logged out and wanted to sneak out later on a night server. Logging back in 2h later we all just had the "choose your gender" screen and had to start new characters... what happened? (And no, we weren't killed in the barn while logging in, we did not all log in at the same time). How did we all die? And why are all my chars that survive longer than 10 days are getting killed by hacks / glitches?^^

DE 27 and DE2 are both HIVE connected, we just were on DE 27 because its 64 players server and we wanted some action^^ (and yeah it was laggy as hell)

Never be on the wrong end of a loaded gun! Not even in a game :S

I'm wearing camo from a crashside, nothing happened since then. Only the debug monitor will reset until relog, no backpack despawn or inventoryvanish.

Used a G17 before the M1911 nerf, and I am still using it, very quiet, good iron sights and good magazinesize. Searched a M9SD for a week and finally found one, just to notice that the iron sights are off, shots are way higher and its hard to land headshots at more than 10m (and it takes like 6 bodyhits for a Z kill -.- ) .

Got a question for you guys, everytime I log onto a server I get 2 groupmessages (the green ones), one says "Where are you?", the next is "I'm at grid 000153", anyone been there ? It's in the sea and I never found a boat, but someone with a boat and who is brave enough could check it out^^
