    Remove Wire Fences POLL

While jumping over some wire in the barracks just the other night, the game somehow glitched, breaking my legs and then killing me. Remove it! All it's used for is griefing other players.

Ten Reasons why Kill on Sight is 'Realistic'

The chances of you surviving alone are very slim. Regardless of whether or not you want to group up, other people will. And they will be the ones in charge. Strength in numbers. The only reason other people are kill-on-sight in this game is because killing them has no moral or psychological repercussions. Not to mention the fact that there are no long term objectives such as rebuilding society, repopulating, etc. Killing people is the only thing to do once you have good gear. It is the current "end game" for a lot of players. Now, am I saying that there wouldn't be murderers and lone wolves in a real world scenario? Of course not. They would exist, but they would be a very small percentage of the survivors. I don't know why people have this notion that in the event of a catastrophe/apocalypse every person will become a psychotic, murderous sociopath overnight. Believe it or not, the overwhelming majority of people ARE good.
  3. I 100% agree with what you are saying in principle. I wish there was some way to penalize server hoppers. I wish there was a way to punish combat disconnecters. These things do need to be remedied. But regardless of how things SHOULD be, or things SHOULD go down in an ideal scenario, the fact of the matter is that you know how things work in this game. This is not an ideal world. You know that there are server hoppers. You know that there are people willing to exploit the system to get the upper hand. You know that the airfield is dangerous. So why in the hell would you wait around in what is not only one of the biggest hot spots for server hoppers, but also one of the most high value item spawns in the entire game? When all is said and done, you are responsible for your death. Tough break, but that's life in Day Z. Hopefully it's a learning experience for you if you decide to resume playing.
  4. In my case, the dupe tents are full of gear. That's why I mentioned I don't want to prosper by exploiting. :(
  5. My tents tend to duplicate. I started with one. Now I'm up to about 6. You might think, "Well that's cool, you got free stuff." But honestly, I don't want to prosper by exploiting. At one point it actually ended up coming back to bite me in the ass, because while my original tent was well hidden in trees, the duped tents spawned all out in the open. Needless to say, they were looted of most of my good gear. Hopefully there is some sort of fix in the works, because this is a rather frustrating bug. It has happened to me on multiple servers with multiple tents, and I don't know how to stop it.
  6. Please fix your server. I miss playing on it.
  7. Can it be removed altogether or changed to where you can just walk through it but are forced to move VERY slow? I don't think anyone enjoys finding a building that's wired up to the point that you absolutely can not hop over. It just seems like all it's good for is griefing other players.
