  1. I think just you. Or maybe this response is just my perspective... If you play the game enough, and pick a low-population server, you can hit up Cherno or Elektro and get out before Zed even knew you were there. Same thing with small villages, and whatnot. It's a matter of knowing, at just a glance, what building or shed or garage can be entered, or where the loot spots in buildings that cannot be entered are. Just the little things that turn it around for you.

M16 Iron Sights or M4 CCO?

Depends on the other attachments. And the paint job. The paint job seals the deal. I'm a sucker for an Camo M4 CCO. Probably why I get shot so many times up in NWA.
  3. Depends on the danger provided by the multi-threat environment players are in. If zombies provide a good threat without being overpowered, players will be careful, won't rambo it up, and with ammunition scarcity, be much more careful with the placement of their shots, and more importantly, whether they even open fire. However, a zombie isn't the type of threat that puts a round through your skull at 300-400+ yards. Or the type of threat that says friendly and then opens up with a shotgun at melee range. In this game, sad truth is that most players would save a bullet to expend into another survivors brain pan.

How did you discover Day Z?

One name: CHKillroy. Of course, now I prefer his ARMA 2 stuff, especially with ShackTac. Interesting stuff.

    Romero Zombie vs Rage Infected

Also, add in the thought of roaming hordes. WWZ, you had hordes moving in vast swatches across continents towards the area where the dinner bell was rung. Imagine your local neighborhood bandits getting swamped in NWA by a Stary horde after taking you and your mates down with a bunch of high powered, very loud weapons. Strongpoints such as firehouses and churches would become good areas to try and restrain the "runners", but you gotta grab the loot, kill the runners, and get out quick, because when the horde catches up... Game over, man. Game over. Of course, engine and graphics limitations make this a pipe dream...for now...

Survivors: Locations of NWA sniping spots?

Technically, anywhere on NW. First off, you have the obvious vantage points: fire station and air control tower. Then you have the tree lines within the airfield, buildings, hangars, etc, etc. An enemy doesn't need a sniper rifle or the high ground to get the drop on you. It can be the fellow with the AKM crouched in the corner of a room. NWA is a danger zone. If the server is filled/filling up, expect danger from anywhere.
  7. I like these ideas; I'm hoping that features are eventually added that allow settling down and creating bases, clearing towns, surviving in the next degree, as it. Problem is, as is often pointed out, the Arma II engine.
