First of all I want to clarify that I'm not whining or complainng about my death, it was my own stupid fault, I've accepted that and moved on. I simply post to gain feedback if anyone else has had this. Server: US 5 I got on earlier tonight and by surprise people were talking globally in side chat. I was like, "Wow! Rocket put the global chat back in!" But the other guys who were in the server at the time were like, "Nooooo just this server because the clan or whatever wanted it in and knew the admin. So I accepted it and kept on playing when one of the guys is like, Hey! I have coordinates for the clan's camp, and shared them with us. So me being my stupid self went out to investigate and by surprise, there was a camp there. 2 buses and a pickup with 4 empty tents but the pickup at pretty good gear. I take some, get in the truck... then BAM I blow up. Now here's the kicker... I get off, take a 10 minute break, then get on only to find that A. Everyone that was there earlier talking was now gone, and B. Side chat was magically removed and I currently can no longer talk with anyone else. Again, I'm not whining or complaining or crying over my death and loss of gear, I just simply want to know if anyone else is experiencing the same misfortunes.

Yeah I've played DayZ for months now and my encounters with vehicles are fewer, actual working vehicles even fewer. You think you're frustrated now? just wait.

Since the most recent update my friend and I can't seem to find a server that we both have on our list, also it hasn't been updating pings the past couple days so everything stays at 9999. I know it's always a little weird after patches but I don't remember it being this bad before. Anyone else having problems?

Actually it should be like right now. It's 3:45 CST, meaning 4:45 EST so it should start in 15 minutes.

Actually it should still be in day time, depending on the server they choose. It doesn't start getting dark until around 7-8 in DayZ, so as long as they choose a server that runs on the same time as the time zone it's in we should be fine, but having it at night time wouldn't be a terrible idea either. However it goes down, I'm just excited to participate.

Correct. You and I are in the same time zone it looks like so wait for 3 to role around. It'll be 4 on the East Coast where the host is and starts at 5 their time so yes.

We won't know until they announce the server in an hour.

To everyone who said they're going to steak out this church with snipers and binocs, good luck. Just made it to the church and there's a nice building blocking a solid shot of the doors from the hills out by the firestations. Good luck though.

It's called the lucky guys who find the cars in the server first fixed them up and then hid them in the wilderness at their camps. My friends and I have only come across 1 fixable car in Stary Sober which resulted in their deaths from a sniper in the woods near by picking them off before they could drive it anywhere.

Hey my game glitched and I broke my leg in the Firehouse of the NW Airfield. I need a shot of morphine. There is currently a fire going inside of it and I'm laying under the stairs. Can someone help me out? I promise I'm not going to shoot you, and I'll be happy to compensate food or supplies to whoever helps me out.

No actually it's not. I'm not one of those douche bags who tries convincing people he's in trouble just to get a few murders. My leg is really broken, and I'm really not a bandit. So I would appreciate if you would refrain from making other people look like a bad guy when it's probably just you.

To the people who laid 3 tents down near the northern barracks at NW airfield on US 5, thank you for storing somewhat good loot inside for us survivors who were in desperate need of food/drink or ammo.

Inspired by Dr. Wasteland I've decided to stop killing and start saving. No I wasn't a bandit, but I did kill if I had to. My base server is US 5, if anyone needs assistance please feel free to IM me either on the forum or by steam. My profile is Nergalwaja if anyone wants to add me, if not then shoot me a message on the forum and I'll tell you what my ingame name will be. I will not shoot you unless shot at first, if you need medical assistance such as a transfusion or a shot of morphine/ epi-pen I have medical supplies sufficient enough to help at least a few to start off with. I'll be gone for state baseball the next couple of days so I won't be able to help too much right off the bat, but when I get back I'll be more than glad to help out anyone who needs it.

So my friend has an Alienware laptop M17XR3 and is running Arma II and Dayz and thinks he should be able to run it higher than the low graphics settings. I was surprised to hear this as well so I figured we would ask you guys. His specs are: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit Intel Core i7-2760QM CPU 2.40GHZ 4 GB of RAM Intel HD Graphics 3000

So has anyone figured out a way to run DayZ and regular old ARMA II and OA at the same time? I really love playing DayZ, have no complaints considering it's in Alpha still, but I find myself missing some classing Domination Co-op games on Operation Arrowhead and from what I can remember, when I tried playing OA with DayZ installed it wouldn't allow it. So back to the original question. Has anyone found a way to do this yet, or has anyone heard of any plans to make this possible?

I didn't pay for this, my friend did, and it was one of his only options at the time, so please don't post things like: If you can help, great. If not, find another thread to comment on please.

Thanks, but like I said I already went to Device Manager and the only thing that came up under display adapters was the HD Graphics 3000. And when I went into his BIOS it showed an Intel Sandy Bridge graphics and under that it said Discrete Graphics Nvidia GFX, but I couldn't find how to enable that Nvidia setting. Am I on the right track?

Excuse me Ballistixz? No need to be an asshole unnecessarily considering I've been building custom PC's for about 4 years now. I have a pretty decent knowledge of computers considering I do it soley on spare time.
