  1. my ticket was closed, HA has 80 USD of mine and won't refund it, i have no active services. And they have essentially told me to go screw off. not responding to my tickets, and the responses i've had are 8 word sentences that say, you should have read our terms and conditions. I would not recommend this service to anyone not because their hosting is terrible, but because their customer service is horrendous. I will be contacting my bank to attempt a charge back, even though HA claims they have no access to my direct draft, i was drafted 31.68 last week, directly from my account. I do not know how this is possibly since i never gave them that information, unless they charged me 40$+31.68$ and the 31 came out of my checking because paypal did not have the funds to cover it. either way. poor customer service, and insulting customers instead of even trying to open a dialog to resolve an issue is bad policy plain and simple. I run 3 businesses, and i don't understand why people do this to themselves, a model like that is unsustainable, no matter how much a client wants your services. Eventually, you will run out of clients.

  3. #879920 jonnerz, can you please expedite this ticket? i was billed AGAIN today, AFTER i cancelled paypal payments. 31.68$ looks like my august payment, though i recieved a ticket stating the payment had been sent back, i have no record of receiving it, and this reflects in the HA console under current balance, which is now 80 dollars, plus today, monday i was billed the above amount. that puts us at 111.68$, unless i get another hit on my bank. please help man.
  4. My server has been inactive for 2 months, i was told i was going to receive a refund for the last month we had it up because of major server problems, (re-installation 2 times). I was waiting on this refund to post to my paypal and then was going to cancel my auto-matic pay. I am starting a business IRL and have been working almost non-stop on the building we purchased, but i do check my email, i planned to cancel the auto pay upon the refund of the last month, which i had paid, not received free to my knowledge. so 2 days ago, i put in a ticket and see that i have 80 dollars credit, i have no current services with HA, and don't plan to have any, so the credit is uesless, i petition for a refund from billing. 2 days later i receive this response "Credit is non refundable. This is stated when adding credit to an account.Maybe this was the case, but if so, then why in august did i receive a notification that i was refunded for the month of august. I will need to check into my paypal and look into this, but at the moment, i have been working 16 hour days putting fiberglass insulation in my office, so i'm tired and itchy, but the response was short and i think kind of rude, especially considering i have apparently been refunded before. as i said i have no current services so the HA credit is completely useless to me. I would GREATLY appreciate someone that has maybe a little courteousness and training in customer service work with me rather than a contractual citation in response to my request. I do want my 80 dollars back, and i can't say that HA has been horrible, but if this is how they prefer to end off their business with me, then yeah, i think that's horrible. so Jonnerz, if you are still there man and watching these posts. please help me get to the bottom of this, i would greatly appreciate.
  5. I have no idea how it's going to work. But with all the amazing things Rocket is talking about with the standalone i cannot help but think how crappy it will be and all that hard work gone to waste when some dickbag can just make his way all the way into your bunker with his buddies, log in, and suddenly, out of the 8th dimension, you have a surprise butsecs firefight that you have absolutely no pre-emptive notice (not even 5 seconds). Then some super geared group of hardcore gamers that systematically seek out bases on every server (possibly goons), make thier way in somehow, or if not able to get in from another server, are at your front door. or possibly get in on your server, get in your base, one at a time, if you happen to have no overwatch for an hour (if you think i'm over thinking this, SEE EVE ONLINE) this game is hardcore, many eve players will play this game. If you think for a second that there will be any honor or quarter given in the meta of this game, you're batshit crazy. people like PL and goons will play this game, and they will find ways to exploit the inter-dimensional travel that exists currently. If you think server loggers were bad, wait till you get entire eve alliances doing stuff like this. You will be screwed bigtime. I love espionage as much as the next guy, and i think it's 100% fair for someone to stake-out your base and wait for an opportune time to infiltrate it, but getting in, then logging, and rinse and repeat until you have an entire alliance in your base is pretty ridiculous, it's unfair to an unacceptable level. I don't fight fair, and i don't expect others to, but a pre-emptive strike like this is wholly bullshit and i just want to bring it up and i want to know what's the plan of combatting it. i did a search for "dimension" "server loggers" and "inter-dimensional server travel", came up with nothing, so i posted.

    got this, this morning at 8 am CST/GMT-6 "Your server will be back up within 1-2 hours once again we are extremely sorry for the inconvvience to you and your players" it is now noon my time, and 2 hours past the ETA, since sunday night we have had 27 hours of downtime. So percentage wise, in the past 3 days our server has been online for less than 70% of time. And we've been assured it wasn't going to happen again, it did, and given unrealistic ETAs, which weren't even close to being met. Ticket responses are wildly unpredictable, taking anywhere from an hour to 2 days to get a response, and the responses are giving little information as to what it going on, and are largely apologetic. Not trying to make a post giving the host a hard time, just reporting my experience here. this week has been pretty bad.
  8. Response Received from HA "Hey There, We are really sorry but our datacentre made a mistake and replaced the harddrive on your node by accident when it was meant to be replaced on another server. " end quote i can't make this stuff up.
  9. going on around 20 hours of no service this month. about 12 of those hours are SERVER STATUS UNKNOWN. Each time this has happened, i have received no response before the server has gone back up, nor a reason why this happens or why it says the server status is unknown. I'm going to bed now as i don't want to play on another server. i hope you guys get it figured out.

Server crashed for about 8 hours yesterday, when restored received response to ticket (highlight over to see below) "We've Fixed this, It should not happen ever again now" - by jonners Server is unknown status again. been down for hours. 2nd time this week. Yesterday ALL our config settings were reset, including our battleye bans on script restrictions, etc. was told it wouldn't happen again, i didn't expect that, nice gesture, but quite unrealistic considering this seems to be happening rather frequently. TICKET #287661 please fix my server again.

    "CD Key in use" when i try to connect to a server

    my account key was stolen apparently, i bought the key from bohemia interactive. sent in a ticket. hope i get a response, skiddies only seem to be SUPER active on the weekends. considering just not playing on weekends if this keeps up, hack and scripts everywhere.

  16. what is this supposed to mean? our admin is right, and along with probably tens of others; servers all over were being hacked like crazy, been playing 2 months and never seen it as bad as it was last weekend. Admins that are active should be in damage control mode, sorry if we kicked/banned you unjustly, but if you were legit you were definitely in the wrong place at the wrong time. If our server is being hacked, we will restart and/or shutdown until the hacker goes away, we did this monday night for almost an hour. completely shut server down. We want players on our server to enjoy the game. again, sorry if you were kicked unjustly, but if you admin'd your own server i'm sure you'd understand. We actually don't have a server restart schedule at the moment because we have 3 active rotating admins, if a server restart "schedule" is REQUIRED, then we will gladly oblige, but i don't recall ever seeing a requirement for that, nor even that the server HAS to be up. But anyone is sorely wrong if they think we will just let our server get hacked and let hackers live on US 401, i'll get blacklisted before i let that happen. Also, we have a clan website you could have attempted to contact us through and sort this out. But instead you chose to publicly post this, just saying for future reference, as the guild leader, you might consider approaching the cause of your issue (in this case the admin, i have my email listed in the MOTD). We are reasonable people and i'd take your situation seriously if you did the same. But looks like you are just trying to defame our server by assuming that we restarted/banned/kicked you when you were obviously uninformed of the amount of serious hacking going on over the weekend.     hey man. we got a group going, bout to set up a server this week. check out www.exilegamers.com, we interview people to make sure they aren't tards, but if you're an older dude shouldn't be a prob, have lots of bachelor-up all night types. And we are fairly hardcore. have some chicks in the game atm too. good guild, good community. check it out. i'll look for your app, otherwise pm me on here and i'll get you TS info and we can do it that way as well.

ETA on server was Today 7-17-12 *UPDATE*- recieved notification that the system used to create servers has been having problems and that maybe my server would be up today, no ETA given. 7-17-12 *UPDATE* # 2- Recieved response to Ticket # 264314 stated that "you will receive an email soon" 5 hours ago 7-17-12 *UPDATE* #3- looked at my details on the Host Altitude Site, and now it says ETA JULY 19. Originally it was 15th, then 16th, then today i was told it would be up, now it's the 19th? submitted another ticket with high priority, if not responded to within the next 2 hours, i will request a refund and find another host. 7-17-12 UPDATE #4- High Priority ticket was responded to quickly, (maybe they shouldn't have priority tickets because the others i didn't make high priority and it took an average of 13 hours to get a response), i am told that my server is next in the que and in 30 minutes something will happen (though i don't know what), very little information about what is actually happening here. Still not happy, but if my server goes up today, i'll give them a shot. PROTIP* exploit the high priority ticket system, you'll get better results when you are looking for a response. 7-17-12 UPDATE #5- Server is up but status is unknown, cannot install updates (did you install them?) CP login is apparently not the same as login i created when registering. Do not have username and CP login, (somehow got in). Cannot find server in 6 launcher or arma II game. awaiting response from ticket # #503665 and #883352. would greatly appreciate not just server being online, but also usable and active. 7-17-12 UPDATE #6- server is showing up in server list, can't get in, applied updates ( i think), and restarted. took 15 minutes to get to loading screen, was not able to get in. lobby showed 3 people in OPFOR team. So Far, looks like update applied, but noone seems to be able to get in the server. 7-17-12 UPDATE #7- SERVER IS RUNNING INCORRECT VERSION OF THE SERVER SIDE APPLICATION, YOU CANNOT PLAY ON THIS SERVER IF YOU ARE THE SERVER ADMIN PLEASE CONTACT THE DAYZ STAFF. i did run all updates except the one marked DO NOT USE 7-17-12 UPDATE #8- It isn't whitelisted yet, it will be within an hour. ----------- Connor J. Support Team 7-17-12 UPDATE #9- SERVER IS UP AND RUNNING/WHITELISTED. OFF TO A ROCKY START, BUT I'D GIVE HOST ALTITUDE A 6.5/10 SO FAR. WE'LL SEE HOW THE SERVER PERFORMS. KEEPING IN MIND THIS IS THE CHEAPEST SERVER THEY HAVE. SERVER WILL BE SHUTDOWN UNTIL I GET SOME SETTINGS SORTED, HOPEFULLY NO MORE MAJOR ISSUES.
