I finally was able to join two servers and it put me in an endless field with no items....

Iv'e been having the same problem, i am a new player attracted to the game by the mod. I got it yesterday and installed everything properly but to no avail. First i had to deal, and manage with the "bad Serial" error for the whole day. Got around that and now i either get the black screen with the phrase "loading" or "Bad version" when trying to join a server. I tried so many servers. Same errors occur. Please help bump this thread. Hope for the fix. |:

Im having the EXACT same problem i fought this all day yesterday first i got slammed with the bad serial error than i got past that and i have the "bad version" error now it lets me in to pick my role ext. but then it loads gets stuck either on the loading screen or sends me back to the main menu of Arma 2. ive tried both ways of running the game through the six launcher and the regular game, but to no avail. It's driving me insane i get so close to playing and bam, the game says fuck you. Any help would be appreciated a lot of us are having this problem.

I got the steam deal thing that included Arma2 and Arma 2 operation arrowhead and i uninstalled them both twice

I uninstalled everything, reinstalled everything. Arma 2 works perfect, i go to run arrow head and it give me the "ArmA 2 OA" "Bad serial number given in setup" shit. Im so fed up i just wanna play the fucking DayZ mod...

Hello all i just downloaded everything following the step by step guide on the site. Whenever i hit join/quickmatch it starts up with a blackscreen for a couple seconds then a loading screen that says "wait a minute". After about 5 seconds the game crashes and it pops up with a a box that says "ArmA 2 OA" "Bad serial number given in setup" I cannot play and i have no clue what to do to fix this. I can post a video on youtube with a link if this would help as well. Please comment fast with a fix i want to play ):
