    Looking for a partner...

PM me only if you own a microphone, are over the age of 20, and wish to join a group of relaxed social gamers looking to increase our survival time with minimal violent conflicts. Maturity and sense of humor is a must. credibility in my profile.

"Dayz isn't all bandits" "Here's a video of our group being a bunch of douche bandits" Good job. You call him a lucky survivor because you gave him gear and then killed him? Oh goodie, lots of fun.

This is a group of tards sniping randoms on the beach. Pathetic. Regardless of this one random you took along, who you KILL later. (obviously) Distasteful. Disgusting. Nothing but banditry.

  14. Overnight Eastern Americans here. 9pm-9am sound good to you? PM me if you have a microphone. We have some UK folks, Aussy folks, as well as I think one Brazilian, so we're not exclusive, we do try to keep our ages above 18 though
  15. Zeds have taken over, you've all seen them... Walking our streets, lurking in our homes, eating our family and friends. How can you spot a zed? Symptoms include rambling about aimlessly, the profound sound of thick gurgling, most likely blood in the back of the victims throat, and extreme hunger for living supple flesh. These zeds also have no means of direct communication with the living, despite their ability to hunt in packs. Survivors are encouraged to stick together, but remember: ZEDS CANNOT SPEAK! YOU CAN! Use this to your advantage and form alliances, pacts, agreements, mutually beneficial relationships. If you open up a dialogue with another survivor, you segregate yourself from the zeds. --------------------- Point: Use your microphones, open dialogues. BE SMART ABOUT IT. I would never suggest running up to someone and starting to spout greetings. However, if handled correctly, and safely, you can effectively ATTEMPT to open a conversation with someone. ---------------------------------- My story: My group of 8 survivors were travelling our Military transport truck that we recently rebuilt. It was night time, and the moon was high, so we were intent on making the most of our hidden tracks. We drove quite close to Cherno, about 800 meters North, in the fields. From the back of the truck I see a flare go off near the shore of Chernogorsk. "HALT!" The truck screeches to a halt. "Do we have any friendlies in Cherno?" A unanimous reply of silence... "I'm going in, come if you want, if you come, follow me lead." I said. Surprisingly all of my men but the driver come along to meet the Cherno Flare Fellow. We procees swiftly, using the darkness as a reason to be reckless. Taking down only the necessary zeds with well placed silenced shots from my men, we continue South. On the way in, I remember to make our presence known. My intentions are to meet the person, not to attack or to harm, and a startled survivor is a survivor who pulls the trigger faster. Letting the person know I'm coming, I'm already opening the channel for dialogue. Another flare goes up by the fire house to the West. We continue forth... "I see your flare at the Fire House! We're coming in slowly, DO NOT OPEN FIRE OR YOU WILL BE KILLED!" We enter slowly, and secure the fire house... Nothing... Reports of another flare thrown near church are sent in from our driver. One of my men is already nearby so he gets on the scene first. He must not have attempted to speak to the target before showing himself, because the next thing we hear, is a single shot ring out... Silence... "He shot at me!" "DO NOT FIRE BACK! IF HE WANTED YOU DEAD HE WOULD HAVE KEPT FIRING!" I scream back... I know that shot was a defensive, scared shot. "Wait for me where you are." In the darkness, my man was able to sneak into the church where the target was, and keep an eye on him while I made my way there. I spoke to him through the wall, let him know who I was, and let him know I am friendly, and with others. I let him know that I am only here to help if needed, and any hostility towards me would be met with a 6 man rush on his position. "I'm low on blood, I need a transfusion, I was throwing flares to try and attract a survivor to me." "I'm coming in." I walk in alone, my men waiting outside in the now drenched streets. The man is armed with an AK74-Cobra, has extra mags in his ALICE, and in general seems appropriately geared. I give him a blood transfusion and signal my men to come in and close the door. His name is Jack. And he is still out there, living, in a fucked world. He's alive because I allowed the dialogue to be opened in a safe and coherent way. "HONK! HONK!" Our driver, knowing all well what was happening in town, planned his pickup perfectly, right outside the church, we pile in, letting Jack know there are good people out there. And they come in packs. His name was Jack.

    Public Service Announcement

Oh YES! Locke was there!!!! Totally wish we had someone recording. Need to bring Austin fucking on.
  17. Your diplomacy was weak. My diplomacy has been the victor 2/2 times. May not sound like a lot, but in 2 player encounters, I've befriended 2 players. Just because you're bad at negotiating properly, doesn't mean the game is an asshole magnet. It's your mentality that makes you see it that way. Cheer up, and get better at talking.
  18. This is a bug and doesn't apply to all situations.
  19. Anyone camping the Airfield is a bandit. But the way to find out if someone killed anyone during their life, is to look at them... If you hear rapid heart beats, he's a killer. But really, anyone camping airfield deserves to die. In and out, all others have bad intentions.
  20. First post bitching? Why did this thread not die?
  21. I suggest writing coherently. I stopped after number 2. Sorry dude, it's just a mess and an eyesore.

New to the game and I'm suprised!

=D Suggestion: turn the music off... it will become more of a distraction you will see.
  23. The dedication and time commitment that clans require is so horrendous. However if you're interested in joining a relaxed social community, perhaps I could help. But certainly not a clan. =p. I'm going to sleep now talk to later if at all.. Be safe.
  24. common sense is a great thing to add to the forums. Good job. I actually just met someone named Jack in Cherno today, had he not had a mic, his brains would have been painting the Church walls. Open communications, friendly negotiation is what it's all about.
