You can't strafe through doorways because your gun is in the way. Directional chat has never choked up for me... Perhaps you played on a server that revoked the ability to use Direct Chat... Which is retarded yes... but some servers do it.

Play with a group who can teach you how to properly evade zeds. Based on how you phrased your post, I'm assuming you're trying to run-n-pray (see what I did there?) around town willy nilly. YOU CANNOT run randomly throughout a town and not expect zeds to come running. Keep a close eye on your visibility and your noise levels. PAY ATTENTION to your audio indicators, (white dots on the side of your screen, represent left and right ears picking up animals and zombies)

The game is a resource HOG!!! For me, I bought a $15 desk fan from Rite Aid, took my side panel off my tower... and have that thing blowing DIRECTLY on my graphics card/heat sink. WORKS LIKE A CHARM, tell you what. It's summer time, so take proper precautions to keep your system running.

My idea would be to add a new action called "Go to sleep". Causes player to go prone, wait for 20-30 seconds, then auto-logs out.

After I had banned him from my personal mumble server, he began to accuse me of breaking some DayZ rule of banning for being a bandit or some such stupid thing. At this point he says: "Watch this, I'm going to hunt you down and kill you right now, check it out" I instantly fall to the ground, unconcious and lose 1k life till I am at -4000 blood. No zombies, no gunfire. 5 minutes prior, he had shot my friend in Star Sobor, and then somehow gloats about killing me near Bor? I believe he was hacking. Thanks.
