i run a server and they called it "emergency maintenance" no clue what that means

sigh a lot of misinformation here .. i havent read every post and im sure someone else has pointed it out but mosins can hold 5 rounds and does NOT require a stripper clip to load up to 5. Proof - I have one sitting next to me and have shot 500+ rounds through it, always 5 rounds and never with stripper clips. You can manually load the gun w/ 5 rounds

they said at first friday but then dean said something on his twitter account about how some of the patch might get pushed to today or tomorrow.

I didn't read the majority of the posts because I'm pretty sure from your edit that I can ignore most of them. Our server community is trying to create an environment that gets away from call of dayz gameplay. We run a server that will at some point be private hive or whitelisted depending on the community. It is a light RP server. For example, I'm the sheriff of Berezino and I facilitate fresh spawns, kill bandits, clear zombies, etc. I have several deputies as well who help out on patrol. There are other groups and also individual players with their own goals. This is not a no kill server. Just that people have a rationale for their actions. When it does the server name will say HC hive or private hive or some such name

Freakin' awesome stuff man! There would be tons of para military for various reasons. Expats, mercenaries, clandestine military missions etc. Totally fits to have people from different countries. I will be on tonight and will set up the new teamspeak. I'll edit the 1st post in this thread with teamspeak info. It will be open to all. So come in and we can introduce ourselves!

There are no rules besides no racism or discrimination. I'd prefer people have backstories or rationales but currently I'm just looking to meet people open to the ideas we are discussing. Player interactions are the best kind of "end-game" IMO. Very much still going on and will be going on for a long time. We are in it for the long haul and would welcome you into teamspeak even though you are 17. It's my way of gating the voice coms to block out immature people and squeakers from teamspeak... Server is open to all. I'm a high school teacher so I have to protect myself from liability when I stream.

To all those wanting to play, we will be having an event all day Saturday the 18th on our server. Players from all time zones will be hanging out ingame and meeting up on the new teamspeak. TS info will be posted soon. We are looking forward to meeting new friends and enemies in the coming months. Remember, the RP is light. No requirements to be in character or have a fully formed persona until you are comfortable with it. I think you can tell from my vids that I'm new to this as well. P.S. I think more people enjoy a good RP than either know it or would admit it. I am a HS teacher and know that one of the best ways to get my students involved in something is to allow them to come to it on their own terms. They then tend to teach me a lot more about the subject matter that I know as well since they have a fresh outlook and are unbiased. We are trying to actively grow it so if you have questions or want to hang out while playing come join us on teamspeak. TS is for 18+ however. The Sheriff thinks you might be a potent ally if you ever want to head up towards Berezino and lend a hand towards a common goal. We currently do not have any medical staff at our two fully stocked hospitals. Deputy Poodle would love to show you his collection of books which he reserves almost his entire backpack for. Almost none of us are published writers (though we do have many professors and writers IRL in our community) so never feel like your backstory is inadequate. Actions speak louder than words. What kind of hours do you normally game at? We currently have two teamspeaks. One is getting taken down on the 17th and the other has yet to be set up. Most of us are on around 7PM PST and later tho I am sure that more people will joining will have diverse hours. I guess it is fitting that our start be rough and rocky just like the game. Better to make mistakes now and learn than never make any and live in ignorance. Worst case senario I have already made many new friends.
