Blood regen of any kind will have to be at a reasonable pace. Very few people have the real life time to sit in a forest for 8 hours sucking their thumb. A cooldown or heal over time food system and a heal over time effect for blood bags (faster than food) is a pretty good solution. However I don't really understand the reasoning behind the changes to toolbelt items. If realistic degradation is not possible then they should probably be left alone. Gear degradation is already in the works for standalone.

War Z is nothing but a list of empty promises until they actually show some footage of the game in action. They are trying to do things no other game has ever done with only a year of development. They will be very keen to tell you about all the positives but they won't tell you bad things like how the entire map is heavily instanced or the netcode is even worse than arma 2.

There is a bug that causes tents to dupe on server restarts. So most of the duping is actually unintentional. The biggest problem is farming loot by server hoping. Go on any server that is empty or has less than 4 people and watch the NWA. People spawn in and log out almost every 5 minutes and will disconnect if they see another player. They just raid the barracks and switch to another server with zero risk to themselves. You also have to consider that high end gear like this has a longer life span than other stuff because it is almost always guaranteed to be picked up if found or looted from another player. Lowering the spawn rates would only punish legit players. Its the meta gaming that needs to be fixed.

PVP is no more common now than it was with global chat. Bandits are always gunna bandit and normal survivors can't trust each other any more or less than before. This is of course assuming you aren't stupid enough to believe what you read in global chat. Remember what your parents taught you, don't trust strangers. Especially ones with a gun. Starting without a gun has no effect either. You must be pretty bad at stealth if you find this a problem. If you go running around Cherno or Elektro its your own fault if people start shooting at you.
