    can never find any vehicles

I can tell you this from personal experience once you find your first vehicle it makes it a lot easier to find others. My friends and I went for well over a month before we found our first car.

    Hiding Vehicles

Is the only mostly safe option to drive them off the map? Atvs, motorcycles and bikes are easy to hide because you can just stick them in a bush but larger vehicles are almost impossible to hide on the map. My friends and I can never seem to keep the larger vehicles as someone always manages to find them and very quickly too if I might add. We hide them in low traffic area's far away from the coast and lucrative loot locations.

    Hiding Vehicles

Well we kept them hidden where people have no real reason to pass through it's not in between or near anything only way they could really come across it was if they were lost or taking a direct route to someplace from really far away. ZedsDeadBaby your suggestion is a really good one and we'll try to implement it if we can get a larger vehicle again. I kinda wish that servers were only one character per because then it would lessen the risk people would find stuff since(not to mention server hoppers and d/cers) each server would have a set population but I understand why it isn't. It's funny when I first started playing this game i thought the map was enormous but once you've been playing for a while it really feels quite small.

    Hiding Vehicles

Interesting perhaps that's why my friends and I have actually started finding vehicles on the server we play on. I had a plan to keep our big ural truck safe but my friend didn't like it. The plan involved shooting out the tires so they can't take off with it and would only be able to rob us. We would then keep four spare tires on the easy to hide atv so we could move the the truck if it's position was made

    Ammo spawn consistancy

That would probably just make more bandits because using a few bullets on a survivor will probably net you a lot more.
  6. It is and it isn't. I tend to have the most fun playing Dayz when I play with a few buddies if a couple of your buddies are going to play it as well then I'd recommend it because then it costs the same as a fun night out except you can use it more than just one night. Plus you get the actual game with it!

    Mountain Dew??

I've actually found the rarest drink in the game before the Diet Double Dew.

    Vehicles less rare?

I agree and they need to fix the off map hoarding too. I've been playing for a couple months and I've only ever found 2 bicycles and one bus whilst never seeing anyone else drive any vehicles on my home server :/

    Tent Mechanics

    1. As far as I know yes but in the 1.7 series of patches I still have tents from my characters that have been dead for two weeks still active on my home server. 2. Only the original owner of the tent can pack up the tent if your character who placed the tent has died you can not repack it. One possible solution is to have spare tents stored in your tents. 3. Save tent does what you think it does it saves the tent through server restarts. The mechanics aren't perfect and sometimes it will disappear after a restart but another restart usually restores it. As for missing items people can find your tents and take items out of them; if they have a grenade or a vehicle they can outright destroy your tents. There are several glitches with tents and obstacles as well I once had a tent that I placed and then later moved to a nearby location, after server restarts I assume the tent would reappear in it's original location while the moved version of it still existed thus giving me a free tent. 4. If you pack up a tent with loot in it the loot inside will pile around on the ground... sometimes other times it just flat out disappears.
  10. I play with a buddy at all times and when we first started playing this mod a couple months ago there were a lot less bandits. We used to actually group up with strangers and not get back stabbed and we never shot anyone unless in self defense. Later we were had to change our mind to engage if the people where in our way but leave them alone if they weren't. Now everyone dies because it's not worth the risk to leave them alive as we've learned. As for why bandits kill the reason is simple zombies are no threat to them they have all the best gear and a stock of back up supplies in case they die and the only pleasure left in the game for them is to ruin other peoples pleasure in the game. I tried being a bandit for a little bit by camping high value areas with a sniper rifle for a little bit and I killed a few people who never knew I was there and had no chance. I took almost no pleasure of it and have consequently decided the best thing to do once you get to the point of having nothing else to do is to just take a break from the game for a while.

    Everytime a new character

Another possibility is that you are playing on out of date servers. If you use six launcher servers that are white are on the same version as you where servers that are gray are on older versions of dayz.
