    I usually shoot at whatever is driving on the road, that be in the right, middel or left side. Everyone seems to want to make a roadkill out of me...

    I am with the rest of the guys here. Show him some videoes with some good footage of Dayz. It might be a good idea fro you to have a couple of videos on your mind, and not just randomly search youtube. Then afterwards talk about what it would be like if you could team up and have adventures together. Sounds a little goofy, but thats after all what its all about. Or it might be easier to wait until the stand-alone comes out and bring him on board then. Alot of people dont seem to understand the concept of it all being a mod and not a game for itself yet. The best of luck to you anyway! I struggeled myself with getting a mate into it, but after a while he became hooked as well.

    To be honest, I dont see their purpose. I guess they will end up like training for people to shoot at moving targets. The intersting thing with DAYZ is with player encounters is, that its not scriptet. That you are unaware of what will happen when you interact with other players. To be, NPC´s would seem like an ennoyance to be honest. I would start to care less about other players I think, because they arent actually thinking.

    Zelengorsk is fairly safe. Just get out of the town and find some animals to kill and roast. You will be fine ^^

    In my opinion you shouldent aim to get a specific look, that be bandit or hero. just play the game the way you want to and see where it leads. Thats what its all about.

    Tell him that his playstyle is not suited for yours, and if he is not interested in changing his ways, it might be better that you spilt up and dont play together anymore. Or however you would put it. I am sure you can come up with something

    60%... thats quite alot. Where do you have that number from, because I would very much like to the report regarding the amout of cheaters that you seem to be in possession of. Or are you just making it up, without having the slightest idea about how huge the problem actually is, and you are just angry about getting killed?

    I can honestly say that, despite the hackers, the glitches, the random events that frustrate you to tears and the bugs, this is still the game (mod) that have brought me the most fun in games for ages (yea, I said ages). Despite all the things that aint perfect yet about this mod, not a second goes by where I would have preferred to be without this game that Rocket has provided us with. I can live with all the things that are wrong with it, because to me its still worth my time.

    As long as there is not a currency system (which i hope there wont be) things is only worth, what other people is ready to give for it. So your two dews... to me, they arent worth anything unless iam dying of thirst. To others they might be more worth than a NVG (Though I rather doubt it)

    I dont. I try to play as myself, which means not shooting everyone on sight. Though it seems that there is alot of people are playing the role as murderous maniacs... Though I would consider being up for it...

    No. Dayz is a mod which is free of charge.. Though many bought ArmA 2 because of the mod,but still not the mod itself.

    Well, I agree with you that there is alot of idiots just running around to get kills on poorly equippet players. Thats why I dident want him to go there, if he turned into one of them. Though if he plans to shoot the armed bastards, then its fine by me. Would just hate to see him using fresh spawns as moving target practice. But yes, he can get some good experience with PvP if he choose the right opponents.
