A long time ago, I went against a speedhacker in Elektro. He missed his first several shots and sped off. I ran for a building to camp and he appeared behind me. He started speedhack strafing while spraying at me. I went to shoot him, but my crosshair just couldn't keep up with him. You are dead. It took me months to understand the significance of that encounter. The neg accel could easily be completely removed from the game and replaced with 1:1 input. But it won't be, and might never be. It's become clear to me that Dean Hall is being secretly paid money by pay-to-cheat site owners to keep this shit in. As long as it's in, their users will never be killed while speedhacking, will be happier with the cheat and more likely to continue paying the monthly fee. Meanwhile normal players get shafted.

In coop or PvP missions? Because 60 fps minimum in multiplayer is insane. -

I've heard BattlEye used to ban rather than kick for Winject. While Winject's most popular use is injecting cheats, it itself is not a cheat. Maybe he's just a diehard DayZ fanboy that cheated on Rust because it's (for some reason) considered a rival game.

ws.arma.su wasteland still gives me terrible framerate in some places. My group's Ifrit got annihilated while I was in the gunner seat with 10-15 fps. Very saddening. -

It's not about the weight of the gun, it's about how far it is away from your turning axis. Even outstretched arms make turning noticeably slower. -
Also, it's silly to think that a friendly player shouldn't be equipped for fights. Two magnums doesn't mean you're going to akimbo KoS some fools, it means you either hoard or are smart enough to have a backup in case one gets ruined by fire.

I use M4 because slow firing weapons have no place in a game where people can warp large distances and clip through walls -

My problem is it shoves people into specific playstyles. You're a bandit, want to be a medic next life? Too bad, you're going to get shot on sight and the people who do it are going to be rewarded. It does nothing to make people risk trusting each other, it just attaches a bizarre point system where people are going to be shooting for (heh) either side of the spectrum. Bandits would also be forced to KoS. Currently a crafty bandit can infiltrate a group and kill them when they're off guard. That wouldn't happen with a skin. People complain about deathmatch but the skin system would just make it more of a deathmatch with points and penalties for shooting certain types of players like an arcade game.

I remember them being 250-300cm tall. That's not enough to injure someone. None of the deerstands have rocks around them so you couldn't just hit a rock at the right angle and die. It'd be pretty great if some Euphoria-like partially controlled ragdoll physics were implemented so that were truly possible, but I don't trust Bohemia to not have that kill you instantly if you land in a weird way. Not true, I used one to suicide a fresh spawn and it only took 2 falls. -
The skins are terrible, there's no way for the system to tell a guy with a gun pointed at you apart from soneone who's friendly.

When I imagine a real life Chernarus I imagine zombies being a significant threat to a lone survivor. This is not yet the case in DayZ.

I can probably use their gun better than they can though. If we group up and converse with in-game VOIP it's just signaling everyone nearby to come kill us anyways. Game needs a whisper (short-distance VOIP not PM) feature imo.
