yes i find this happens very often and can be dangerous going back and hanging around for stuff to spawn in . i also think from reading new players threads that alot of people dont know this happens and they think they cant find anything or that the mod is incredibly hard when you start off as it seems impossible to find guns ect.

i think its called dayz forgotten , it has 180+ vehicles its crazy . 6 hueys and countless cars . tbh it takes the fun out of dayz if you were to play on it all the time but it is good for a laugh every once in awhile

Treat all equipment all weapons the same it's all just gear doesn't matter if it's an as50 or a Marakov it's just more stuff . The real thrill of this game is the person to person interaction anything else is expendable don't get attached to your gear or vehicle well because Easy come easy go

Found a box once with 100 radios in it and 100 of everything else . Got a nice satchel Blew the sucker up , people should do this when they find or are given hacked boxes instead of "ooh I found a sweet box took every amazing item in it now I'm sorted " bollox where's the fun in that ! Search everywhere and google a spawn map it will help you get your bearings of where you are . Both myself and a mate have crashed heli's. once to a glitch where the heli decided to do a barrel roll into a mountain and again when I was trying to land on skalatsky island those damn hills and treeeeeee's !! But as always with dayZ easy come easy go you move on .... I still dream about that chopper ^_^ I would also like to add i have many many hours racked up flying choppers in arma2. im no greenhorn and they still get me killed !

They just need way more zombies I remember back on one of the older updates when there would be 1500 zombies on a map it was crazy city's were no go areas it made the game savage and brutal and dangerous zombies actually meant something and scared the crap out of you to boot . Try facing off a hoard of 300 Zeds in Cherno with only an einfield

Hey guys been away from my avatar for awhile , when I logged back in today he was bleeding and in need of food and water if any of you kind folk could help a brother out that would be amazing . I can join any newly updated servers to meet you I'm in the back of the quarry beside a cliff . It's way more fun just running around like a lunatic I've had many characters last many different amount of days sometimes I'll have 5 in the one session other times I'll have a guy for 20 or 30 days and then die and go beserk and I'll have 4 or 5 again in the one day it's always up and down but the main thing is how many people you play with on a server quite server long character busy server many short characters= way more fun , 37 days is my longest guy 3 mins is my shortest . A good friend of mine lost a 54 day avatar to a hacker/scripter after that happened I never wanted and old avatar again it's way to painful losing something like that .
