That's how you keep the game in perspective. When you guys introduced 1.7.5.1 i was so fascinated that i died by zombies 4 times. And with every new start i was more and more carefull and therefore more immersed into the game. Just like the "old" days. Back when i first played the game in mid June. The more hardcore the game is the more it gets into perspective and follows the vision that Rocket started. Does not matter how many people think immersion comes by cans. Immersion comes by difficulty and complex mechanisms. Just how life is. The people that are scrubs will go away and all the other will be sucked into it.

Lot of us want the zombies to be super duper hard mike tysons, but kids cry. Therefore Rocket, Razor and his team has to babysit. It's a pitty i know. When something gets mainstream you have to keep a fine line to keep everyone happy.

I prefer Bandicam. It does not take so much resourses like fraps and it's far better imho. The customisablity for the recording options is outstanding. You can set presets and everything. Plus the export of the recording is far more HDD friendly. I have 1hour footage in one video only taking 4.2 Gb of space.

Aye I love oring. The sceneries it provides are priceless. I remember going through the tunnel to make my way to the military base up the mountain and I had a nerdgasm. The map is really well done. The only thing that pisses me off are the spawn points.

1.7.5.1 for the win. It was the only patch that made me fear the zombies again. I was watching my step and my movement... But on the other hand they were too much buggy from times to times. Soon there will be a balance point i believe.

You can get your bolts back ages now. Plus in the new patch introduced the quiver. Bolt renamed to Arrow. You lucky survivor. I've been searching for a Machete nearly in every Barn i've crossed.

Pretty much what Sir.Officer said. DayZ Commander is the perfect and easiest solution for updates. It even has multiple mods to choose with.
