Got this idea from an earleir post. what this is is a thread about different game modes. if you have any more ideas, post em down here! So, first off we have the standard survival, what we have now. then my idea was that we have a 'Retake' mode, in which players HAVE to work together to reclaim towns, villages and cities. this would work well with the ArmA engine as you could implement a system in which more zombie kills would give you more ranks, and if you got to higher ranks you could give orders to the other players, telling them where to assault from like a proper military assault. only thing is, as survivors, you wont be very well equipped, and the bigger the settlement the more zombies = much harder. this gamemode could be put on certain servers and i think it would be great fun! this would also have an endgame, in which maybe the survivors kill off the zombie population or maybe they find a cure.(?) please, comment what you think!

i have many friends that play DayZ, but many after i joined, and i would like to be able to keep the character i have at the moment as a solo character and have other characters to play with my friends on. please could you try and implement this?
