Just saying, after 1.7.7.1 was installed, my character got completely reset. Had a Ghillie suit, so that might be why. My friend with normal Camo Clothing got reset as well.

Get a civilian weapon and a map, some food and water and head towards the best military installation with the best loot and get it and get the fuck out.

I've been randomly getting kicked lately, just saying "you were kicked off the game" along with arma 2 crashing. Go figure.

Chernarus. Nothing beats the original. Namalsk is definitely pretty good too.

Haven't been able to download this, is there any particular reason why? Anyone else having this problem?

I fully and completely understand that the guns need to be balanced around one another. but if we can come to a common decision that the 5.56 NATO does 3555 blood damage, the only variations that those guns will have is eiher if its suppressed, and the variables that will change will be the range and fire rate, which should reflect their real life counterparts. Another example would be the 7.62 NATO would do 8000 blood. Just my opinion however.

This wasn't a change that I was suggesting for the custimization of the player, more so as a way to combat the excessive amount of hacking that goes on with weapons. I agree that there should be a larger variety of civilian weapons, but I do still support a large amount of military grade weapons that should be available for players.

To be brief, put all of the possible guns in ArmA 2 into the game. Let me explain why. With all of the players spawning in to find hacked AS50s, or M4A1 Holo SDs, anything of the sort, that legitimately finds them in a camp, and them not knowing they are hacked, it's just a shock, and often times they will want to use it, only to be banned for not knowing that they had a hacked gun. (from a server admin, not BE) Now, while this can cause a disparity of ammo, and a large variety of ammo issues, many of the guns use similar ammo, or same caliber rounds. Such as the FN Fal, MK17, DMR, M14, M240, MK 48, M24, M40A3, M60E4, and more, all use the 7.62x51 round. That being said, a simple "convert to x" magazine feature could be added to all of the magazines, therefore allowing use among many guns, Same goes for the 5.56x45/7.62x54 and other rounds. I personally also think this, while adding a very, very, very large amount of military guns, and not as many civilian guns, could allow for a more clean environment, and even if it was hacked it, at least it would be a legitimate gun in the game. That being said, the drop rates would have to be alerted for some guns, but nonetheless, I feel like this could be possible. Thoughts? Comments? Criticisms? I recently updated to one the of the more recent beta patches (95883) and since then, I have been getting "you have been kicked from the game" constantly, the second I join a server. I don't mod or hack, so I don't know why this is coming up. I reinstalled the patch and battleye client and server, and I am still having this issue. The servers are running 1.7.2.4, which is the version that I have. Is there any reason why this is happening? Edit: it is to the point where servers are not showing up for me, such as the one I regular on.

Well I'm glad to hear that I am not the only one with this issue and that it is a technical issue on BE's end. Hopefully this gets resolved soon.

So I haven't played DayZ in a few days, and I attempt to log in tonight, and I continuously get a "Script Restriction 90" error. I do not hack, mod or anything of that sort, so why am I getting kicked off the game?

So my groups camp got raided by two people, both who combat logged on me when I should have killed them. Nonetheless, they took an SVD, L85, Ghillie among other things. This morning, when my group was doing inventory of our tents to see the damages, we found a "soldier clothing" in them. I recently had read a thread about this being legit/hacked, and I'm not sure what to believe at this point. I have been wearing it for, say, 8 hours or so, and if this is a real item, I will keep using it, or a ghillie suit, but if it is hacked I will destroy it, one way or another. Please, have a source to back up saying that this is hacked or real, I would greatly appreciate that. Also, anyone on the Dev Team or someone with sources to them, if you could confirm/deny the existence of this, I would be happy to know if I can use this or not.

I absolutely 100% support this. definitely just as good as a ghillie in terms of awesomeness.

I fully support the removal of Barbed Wire. Its just way too buggy and messed up to be in the game, and I just want it to be gone every time I see it
