    DayZ: Namalsk

I downloaded it and I'm installing it now. If it works not only will I be extremely happy, but I'll also be sad that I wasted 3 hours of my life trying to do it the manual way.

    DayZ: Namalsk

I guess I'm just an idiot. After trying for 2 hours to get this installed correctly, I just can't. I've followed the instructions, downloaded the files, placed them where I was told to place them, but the game just crashes any time I try to join a server. If anyone has any advice, It would be appreciated, because I'm just about to give up altogether and just not play.

    I returned from a 3 month break.

Can anyone recommend a good server running Namalsk? I've never played anything but Cherno, so I don't know where to look.
  4. Hacker: Doesn't want to earn anything in the game, is typically lazy and typically mildly intelligent, hacking isn't exactly easy. Hackers vary person to person, some of them are actually very nice, some of them are assholes, you can normally tell what kind they are by how they act, do they teleport everyone on the server and kill them, or do they just spawn weapons they want and kill people legitimately without an aimbot or teleporting. Exploiter: At his/her core, a typical gamer, does like however, to find loopholes in the system of a game to give them a tactical edge. Doesn't use any actual cheats, but takes advantages of problems within the game to either gain loot or kill players. Perhaps the most passive amount of illegal gameplay, typically less harmful than the other 2. Griefer: Complete assholes. Goes out of his way to make everyone pissed off for his amusement. Can sometimes use certain hacks to complete these goals, such as teleporting individual people to somewhere they cannot escape without dying. Technically plays the game legitimately, but does so in a way to piss people off, and only to piss people off. My personal opinions, results may vary.
  5. They don't need to be removed, their spawn rates just need reduced. AS50 and M107 are too common, they are high powered weapons that aren't even from the region, not to mention the fact that they are found in CRASHED helicopters, means they would possibly be broken down or not work.

they should make non PVP servers!!

Less "STOP PEOPLE FROM KILLING ME" rants, more "FIX ALL THE HACKS KILLING ME" rants. One of these is valid, the other is just crying.
  7. Anyone that actually thinks Rocket OWES them something is an idiot, but I can understand that people want this game to be great, and the bugs do hold it back, and while Rocket doesn't owe me or anyone anything personally, I want to see this game improve and improve in any and every way possible.

People who murder bandits =/= heroes

Kill or be killed If you aren't on voice comms or don't know the other person as a friend, trust no one, stay out of sight or shoot first and shoot fast. Feels like the Wild West, and I love it.

How did you kill your first victim?

Saved him from a zombie attack, started bleeding, had no bandages, killed him and took his bandages so I could live.
  10. I'm interested, while I wasn't necessarily looking for a clan, I'm willing to give a clan a chance. You might have added the wrong skype name, my forum handle is not my skype name.
  11. I've pretty much done all I can do in this game solo, and now it's time to find people that want to secretly kill and murder me!.. but don't because I have the only blood bag stashed away somewhere :D I only have a few simple rules that I'm looking for: Chill players: I don't need people raging when they die, but that's pretty obvious. Experience: I don't expect you to be a pro and have 3 tents with 3 of every military gear in the game, but knowing basic mechanics would be appreciated. I understand the basics and I don't really feel like teaching :) Skype/TS: I don't really care which one we use, but voice comm outside of the game is a must. As for the type of players I'm looking for, I don't really care, I'm up for playing bandit and being a dick ( :P) or playing a survivor and just trying to survive and help people. Post here or shoot me a PM if you are interested.
  12. I have no lucky moments in Day Z. Unluckiest: Logging in after logging out in one of the watch towers by the medical tents close to the Balota Airstrip, I logged back in to break my legs, start bleeding, and be stuck until I die. *Edit* Luckiest: I need to edit this, I found a Ghillie suit in a random house in one of the small towns by Stary Sobor, I was pretty damn happy.
  13. I don't know about fine. Once you learn how to use it, it's manageable, but I wouldn't say it's very "user-friendly" That being said, alpha is alpha
