Ah! I was wondering why the gameplay seemed so much smoother. and I didn't know that the constant respawning was lagging servers, that certainly makes sense though.

I swear they are bad luck! Another believer! did you take it or leave it? I personally believe they double in bad luck, when taken off of a survivor you killed.

Bumping for GREAT JUSTICE!! also creativity! The Annoying Bards: Go around the forests (as a new spawn would probably be best, and with a friend to make it funnier) singing or playing an instrument over direct chat, and bother the crap out of anybody nearby. Collect stories you turn into songs, ask for donations of beans for a tune, refuse to leave them alone and constantly block their way until they listen to your song or give you something. I've always found that Direct Chat is incredibly quiet, even standing next to the player who is talking, it seems just so damn quiet. When I talk to somebody in-game I just turn up my sound for the time being.

I agree I don't think Classes, Leveling or currency of any kind will add to it. I like how the players are forced to find their own thing to do, it develops the most interesting stories!

I would love to see a 'chart of troll' which grades acts of trolling by effectiveness (how many people are angry)

Yeah the visual artifacts are brutal, I've stopped playing until it's solved. It pretty much makes it unplayable for me, the solutions people have posted on the forums are great! but they usually only work for up to 30 minutes before they are back again. but with that said, Yay standalone!

I actually just noticed this morning (once I was fully awake and not trolling on insomnia) that this was a legit post on the cheat reporting forum and not just another bitchy post on the general Day Z chat (I was looking at the newest posts feed list on the right). I was thrown off by the angry angry title. However, that is not an excuse for the unnecessary trolling. I am sorry OP, I really am. Your intent was to inform of hackers, and I was being a total dick, and threw the thread off it's tracks.

Aw, I feel your pain. It's a hard world out there for a newbie, but stick with it! :) This is a very rewarding mod, despite the steep learning curve.
