To all the bad snipers out there...you guys make my life so easy. After logging in after a hard day of work, i work my way to cherno with my m24 to meet up with a friend. After the server crashes i log in next to a sniper with a DMR, had the chance to kill him, but he luckily left my sight very quickly (he actually dident know i was even there) After looking for him for a bit, i heard the shots of an AS50 sniper rifle near me, i do what any person would do and find cover and wait in silence. After around 5 minutes i peek out to check in the direction where the shots where at. What i find is a man looking in the other direction in a ghilie suit with an AS50, at first i was like "Holy shit, mine mine mine!" after waiting around a minute for a good shot i notice yet ANOTHER ghilied sniper near the other one. At this point my heart is racing and im telling my friends to shut up in skype so i can concentrate. I wait for my opportunity and take both of them out, 1 with a headshot insta dead, his friend on the other hand survives the first shot and as hes bleeding to death, he alt f4'ed. I wasent upset at all, i knew i had atleast one of them to loot. After looting i gained and AS50 with 4 things of ammo, and the thermal/NV gun (cant remember the name) So, thanks for that your terrible snipers. I know i have no proof, but you would expect for people with this much gear to be more careful, so they more then likely hacked or found a hacker with those items. I have already had those items before so i wasn't to excited to get the gear, considering i suicided earlier in the week with an AS50 + M1A1 CCO SD. Just a thought, if your a bad sniper, dont snipe, it makes this game to easy for people like me (;

Its sad, as i said i have no proof but imo they probably hacked if they have 2 fully decked out geared guys in cherno and wont even take the time to act stealthy. These guys were literally easy to spot and i was around 600 meters away. I myself have sniped a lot of hold my gear pretty safely and never go somewhere where i can risk losing that much gear in such a stupid spot. It just suprises me how trigger happy some people are with there snipers. Just the other day it took someone around 20 dmr shots (there were 2 of them) to kill me in Elektro.

Alpha, Alpha, Alpha Why are people complaining about player killers? I guarantee that in a REAL apocalypse there would be crazy people that shoot on sight for pleasure/fear for there life or supplies. This game is amazing (though i am not to fond of the damage patch). I shoot on sight, because i find it interesting to have firefights with other players, and how in hell do i know there friendly? PvP makes this game what it is. A survival game where anyone could be the enemy in the right situation. Do i feel bad for shooting someone walking to me with a gun and not responding? No, its his/her fault for not saying something before coming near me or showing themselves. Do i sometimes back stab someone for something that they have that i want? Yes, ive done it multiple times, and yes i would do it in real life if it meant survival, shit happens, learn not to be one of those guys running up to guys with weapons and flashing your gun saying hey friendly friendly friendly. Yes there are fucked up people in this world, and there would be in an apocalypse to! Quit your whining about bugs and fixes that need to be made, it will change with time considering this game isent even really suppose to be playable yet. Just thought i would give my 2 cents on the "QQ Threads". Give me your damn beans

Exactly, maybe once zombies are fixed up there will be reason to be worried about them. In the current situation i can get fully geared to go north in around an hour if im lucky. After that what is there to do? Farm that barracks? Thats super boring, i find it more fun to gear up and die every few hours in firefights rather then aimlessly running north to get gear that ive already had before. PvP is why i keep playing this game.

Im honestly just questioning why people stream snipe? I guess gear would be the only reason. My story is this : I was streaming a new character so noobs could see how i play (im an experienced player) i slowly gather gear, a winchester, ammo, food/drinks. After racking up 2 kills on some noisy guys in Cherno i get fired apon by a TERRIBLE sniper, misses around 4 or so shots on me, so i flank around to find them. What i run into is a group of 2 or so people 500 meters out. As im sneaking around them i see in my stream chat (which had around 17 people in it talking) someone says "Sorry for the stream snipe" I casually explain to him that im not realling caring if that happens right now, as i was streaming for noobs and purposly not covering up my server info and such. After getting stream snpied around 20 minutes later they start laughing at me and such. I ban them so i don't have to worry about them again, im not even mad at all considering i purposely suicide with 60+ murders earlier today. My question is what was the point in stream sniping me? I had very minimal gear and they obviously had a DMR sniper rife it seemed as if that's what killed me. So gg to the people ruining my noob stream that people were actually enjoying and chatting in. I hope you enjoyed my winchester and some food and drink and thats about it! o.o

Only reason i post here is because i want new players to feel free to ask question and see how i start, if i post it there how many noobs go check the gallery? It's been quite successful actually, having 20+ people in my stream the last 2 days of me just chatting with players and answering questions

Considering i just recently started streaming DayZ regularly, ive never aborted on stream before. Yes, i have aborted to avoid zombies, im not going to lie, and yes, i have betrayed people, but stream sniping is an un legit way to kill someone and really has no point other then to make someone mad.

Pretty much, its not that i didn't expect it to happen, because i was honestly prepared for it. It just surprises me that someone would come all the way to elektro to kill someone with a winchester and some basic supplies. Honestly i had a hell of a fun time, killing 2 guys getting chased by zeds with assault rifles, then dodging sniper bullets going building to building was fun as hell. So its whatever, some people are just n00bs who cant kill me fairly

Did you not read what i put? I wasent playing seriously at all. The stream was completely for the noobs to watch how i start up and have a place to ask me questions and such. I even mentioned multiple times in my stream that i didn't really care if someone wants to kill me with the gear i have. I didn't even make me mad im just asking whats the point of doing it to someone that has no gear, and just trying to help out some noobs? I have stuff set up to block stream snipers, i just didn't have them up for the fact of i didn't really care at the time. If i had my good gear hell yes i would be covering up my info!

Hey guys im looking for around 5-6 people to start a group on DayZ with. I've been playing for around 3 weeks and have found myself with an AS50 Sniper, Ghilie Suit (before bugged) and an M4 Silenced, Died yesterday and would like to actually try a bit of teamwork for once instead of soloing. I consider myself a pretty good sniper, sniping people from around 700 meters away. Im looking for around 5-6 people that play at night (11pm-4am) roughly around those times. I consider myself a serious player in Dayz, i do tend to let my bandit side take over but i dont go around just shooting people. Im looking for some people to take this seriously, find a server to call home and roam, surviving any way possible and gearing up as much as we can. I am an active streamer, but wont do it if the people im with dont feel comfortable with me doing it while we play. Im looking for a mature group of people to do this with, i myself am 16, i consider myself a pretty relaxed person to talk to. Hey guys, been gone for around 2 weeks. I havent really been paying a lot of attention to the patch notes. Any important things that i should know about?

God i love being a bandit, running around with a M1A1 silenced and an As50. Having fun little sniper practice in elektro. After noticing i needed some food i decided to head into town to an area where i killed a couple of guys to find his friends freaking out after finding there dead friends. I called them out to hear them panicking DONT KILL US! After scaring the shit out of them for a while i told one of them to drop there weapons and make there way out with some food, telling them i will kill them if they dont respond. After leading him around 2 blocks away i tell him to drop the food and leave, he does so. I was laughing my ass off the whole time considering they had 5 and i was one guy. I think they noticed how geared i was and just wanted to survive. After leaving town i perched up on my hill and took at a couple more noobs for the satisfaction of fun sniping. God im a bad person, i know i am, but i love this game! :D

I log in and my ghilie suit is gone...all my other gear is still here though :/

God this sucks, killed a guy in one and was lucky enough to get the gear, just to have it disappear ): meh whatever ill live
