I play the same way whether I'm a fresh spawn with a makarov or kitted out with a AS50, NVGs, rangefinders, GPS, etc. And when I die I can't find two shits to give because I can find the same stuff with a hour or twos work. You just have to learn to not get attached to your gear.

Shout out to "Animal" on US163 (I think that was the server, not 100% sure) who was camping Elektro with a AS50, I hope you read this. Me and my friend were doing a loot run in Elektro for supplies when we came under fire from a AS50, I died immediately. Pissed off, I respawned in Elektro and grabbed a M1911. I ran to the spot where I thought he was camping and upon seeing me he grabbed his M4A3 CCO SD (just guessing that was what it was) and unloaded a clip which missed and all the bullets hit the ground. While he was reloading I ran up and unloaded a clip into his face. And get ready for this, its a BIG shocker....he alt+f4'd. I'm satisfied enough that he lost his equipment (which I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if he hacked it in) Maybe you will be a little bit smarter next time, or maybe even stop camping the coast.

The only boat really worth even getting is the PBX, which is found in the far Northeast cove of Chernarus. I believe it is called Guba.

I think there are a few people who take the mod/game too seriously, and expect too much. Now I know this is in some aspects a simulator and it is I will agree very realistic. But this is still a game to some extent, you can't expect every little detail to be that of real life. I've seen posts of people who complain about how the PvP isn't realistic, how the shooting on sight and getting their camp sacked isn't realistic. This is still a game, people are making decisions based on the fact they are in a game. I'm sure the majority of players don't treat PvP like a real life situation (while I know there are plenty who do, sometimes I even do myself) Or how food and water runs out unrealistically fast, this is still a game, if they made it so you only had to eat and drink based on real life standards that would be kind of silly. And other things such as the glitchy animations, or the fact that its unrealistic that morphine can fix a broken bone, or that you magically get better from eating food and using a bandage. The list goes on. This is just my 2 cents anyway.

My team and I were at Balota doing a bit of looting when I told one of my team members to meet me at the warehouses, about 30 seconds after that remark someone with a girl skin walked by the warehouses. I figured this was my team mate and we started walking. About 2 minutes later I noticed he wasn't responding via Skype call, and so I asked "Who here has the girl skin?" and everyone in the call said they didn't have a girl skin on. Thats when I figured out that was some random person I didn't know, who of which was about 100 meters away when I shot them in the face with my Lee Enfield. Am I dick, or am I a dick?

According to some weapon charts I read, the makarov does 700 more damage than the G17. If thats saying something.

That is possibly the most insane thing I've heard on DayZ. If you are not joking, then you have seriously made my night. xD

Yeah, I've seen it happen a few times. I mean spawning items, whatever. But killing everyone in the press of a button?

Me and my friends were recently talking about it, but I haven't seen anything about it. Can anyone clarify how long it takes for vehicles/tents outside the map to respawn? No, I am not hiding tents and vehicles outside the map, I was just curious.

I like these ideas very very much and I myself would like to see this happen in the game.

The problem is most likely that the server your trying to enter needs to update.

I didn't write this with the notion to "Brag" or obtain "Peer acceptance." I wrote this because I felt like sharing a quick story, do you have a problem with that? Because if I'm not mistaken the bandit campfire is a place to share stories.
