http://www.beancanteen.org Beancanteen are once again recruiting we have our own dedicated server: LU446 and our own TS3 we're certainly not a full on bandit group. We try to have a bit of fun with survivors, rather than spending our time constantly shooting people on the south coast, duping, or spending hours making a camp, which we find pretty futile with the current hacking epidemic. We've been together for a little under two months, and tried pretty much everything out, so if you want a group to run with for tactical gameplay, run with us! We're not exclusively British, we have a few European clan members and we also welcome American members but they find it hard to play with us due to high pings. Here are a few videos of us in action against some hackers, along with a few more of our general douchebaggery on the channel Requirements - Be over 18, though exceptions are easily made if you're mature enough. - Conduct yourself well in game, we don't particularly mind having fun or a bit of banditry but flat out griefing (e.g glitching them, or glitching the game) other players is a no no. - Microphone and Teamspeak 3 Here are the Teamspeak 3 details make yourself at home in the lobby and one of the admins will drag you into the members area where you can play with us on a trial basis: IP: 85.236.100.85:12787 Password: wearethebeans

Oh and just to mention our server is brand new, on a high spec dedicated box with 100mb down and 100mb up. We have admins on at all times and all our players record footage using fraps and are sure to record player ID's so far we have succesfully had 8 hackers globally banned using frapsed footage, player ID's and server logs as evidence. Hey guys does anybody know of a shooting range where you can practice your sniping on targets at various ranges as shown here >>> I have already tried installing a shooting range but it would not work and when I start a game with the mission it loads for a second then just shows me scenery in chenarus with sound an thats it, here is the mod i tried: http://www.armaholic...ge.php?id=14616 Any help would be appreciated Cheers Lazee

Hey guys so which mags should I use for my AS50, I know the 5rnd NATO mags do alot more damage but does this actually make a difference. For example if im sniping at really long ranges such as 900m-1600m will the lesser damage of the M107 mags coupled with damage drop off prevent me from getting a 1shot 1kill? Cheers Laze

So basically I have found out what the problem is when I decided to get DayZ I purchased Operation Arrowhead but only downloaded the Arma2 FREE Trial which means when I launch Operation Arrowhead normal or Operation Arrowhead: Combined operations it tells me I am missing the maps chernarus and utes both of which are required for the target practice maps. So are there any sniping practics mods for OA? or another workaround? Cheers Lazee

I'm pretty sure i know why it wont work now because I lack the 'utes' map in my Operation arrowhead folder any idea where i can find it. I have been able to get the shooting range in Arma2 original but now just need to get it to work in Operation arrowhead so i can use guns such as the AS50, any ideas?

Ok so i have gone into single player mission editor with the second link you posted and have selected utes and then the TargetRange files and now how do i actually get into the game and start playing on the map, im completely new to the arma series so sorry if this is a really stupid question

I have tried but failed miserably can you give me an step by step idiots guide? i just want an as50 with a few clips of ammo and targets set at 400m 500m 600m 700m all the way upto 1600m. But ideally I would like to find a shooting range as shown in the video of my original post

Really are you launching Arma2 or Arma2 Combined Operations and are you using the six launcher?

Not that I know of? although im new to Arma and only purchased it to play Dayz with some friends so if there is one please tell me where to find it :)
