I read somewhere that it has to do with when you are loading you are placed in a debug region until you finish loading in. When you close the program your location isn't saved in the database since the debug areas are invalid therefore it spawns you on the shore. I'd imagine it would be fixed soon since a lot of people are having this issue.

Yeah i have the same problem, can't even loot anymore...hope they fix it soon!
