I usually run the game through Six Launcher. Keeps things updated pretty easily and easy to find and keep up with servers. So, about an hour ago, I run Six Launcher. It says its updating beta and shows me the change log and all that, so I go to join my previous server which is now running 94444 (which I just updated to). Arma 2 OA opens and it tells me it cant join the server - doesn't even try. I go to the in-game server menu and try to join and it still doesn't. The '94444' part of the server version is red like it usually is when the server is running a different version of the game than you are. However, there were about 30 people playing in the server I was trying to join. I looked at other '94444' servers and they were all the same. Anyway, I go to manually download the beta patch. I open the EXE, it extracts and then tells me that I have the wrong cd key (this went away after I deleted the beta folder). I've never seen this error before and I bought the game through steam. It installs anyway and then tells me that the files may not have installed correctly (I get this error everytime so I wasn't too concerned). So I open six launcher and try again. Six Launcher acts like it re-updated my beta patch and I try again. Still no luck. At this moment, I have installed the beta patch maybe 10 times. I've completely deleted the beta folder and installed and ran the game directly through steam and the OA beta shortcut - nothing. I've used Six Updater and verified game integrity through steam - nothing. I've searched through many pages of the forums, steam forums, and even checked the DayZ subreddit. Posting here is really all I can think of to do at this point.
