Please note I would highly recommend installing this through Steam, simply buy Operation Arrowhead (£15) and install Arma2 Free. Follow the guide I used Six Launcher and all went superbly fast, smooth and no errors. - If you have failed an installation I recommend starting fresh by deleting all files related to Arma and DayZ. - ALWAYS run patches using "Run As Administrator" to kick out any writing problems. I must of ran into around 10 problems when installating, this wound me up so much I ended up having a smoke and going to bed. I got up this morning determined to get it working so I uninstalled everything to do with Arma and DayZ, all dont through steam and now its working perfect. Found a magnum in an outside lavatory little did I know this would come in handy as I was mobbed by around 5 zombies all being killed by this beautiful gun. I have to say I have never had shivers running down my spine when playing a game, the loud noise sounds like some nuclear weapon is being launched just adds to the affect. If anybody needs any advice on how to get it installed please PM me and I will show you the tutorial I used. ==== Can anybody give me a hand on what computer components I should upgrade in order to run Arma smoothly, at the minute im running everything on low, I never set out to play this game in the best graphical state but its such a huge disadvantage when zombies are running at you and your FPS is low!

Same here, been up all day trying to fix this really want to play. May sound sad but I feel like crying...
