  1. I'm going to copy and paste what I put in another thread that would fairly solve murdering "1. After your initial spawn, every time you log in acts like your character has just waken up. Every time you log in, within a certain radius your character will make 2-4 second sound effect that could potentially attract zombies if your close enough, but would mostly be for others players to hear you if you spawned within a building or are server hopping. It would have a scale, the more murders you have, the louder the sound you make is to players and zombies, to a certain point where it would sound like you fired an enfield. To make it logical, its like the murderer is having a nightmare, as you can't really control dreams and they can take you for a spin, so you wake up making slight pantings at first from your dream to waking up screaming if high enough murders, to just waking up with an insane yell as if you ever get to that point you should be a psycho. And if you kill bandits you start having good dreams, or lessen your nightmare if you have murdered, to the point where it is now, where you make no noise, but it would take perhaps 5 bandits kills and no murders to get to that point. 2. Every time you murder or kill a bandit, their blood is on you, it will attract zombies. Up to a max of say 20 player kills, you would essentially be soaked in blood and would attract zombies constantly around you as if you were firing an assault rifle or M1911. Its effects would be varying depending on how many you have killed, as so would the visual so you know who the murders are, it may even make bandits look bad ass with all that blood on. There would be no fading of the blood, except by changing clothes though that would only reduce your amount by a certain amount of blood murders each time, say by 5. So you could potentially rid of it by constantly changing clothes, but your old clothes if put on would retain the 5 amount upon them. There would be an item that is as rare as antibiotics that would clean all the blood off of you and your clothes." I will put all my suggestions in one thread later, if you think these suggestions would be a good idea, keep an eye out for the thread i'll make.

Personally I think it would add alot to the game instead of just kill everyone.
  3. The purpose of my suggestion is to make it more realistic, like I said pretend when you log out your sleeping, you wouldn't sleep in a building with no locks in a zombie apocalypse would you? Though on that point, since zombies only spawn near towns, the safest place to sleep would be in a bush in the woods, this would prevent people from server hopping as well near loot locations. You have to think ahead of all your actions, after all, you do have one life. 2 lives, you have 2 lives, getting shot by the first person you try to be friendly with doesn't count as a death.
  4. I read enough of your post to see the direction your supposedly going, though I doubt even the general populace would bother reading your post. You may have made this point or not, but I believe you are for having this game actually be based on reality when it comes to killing another, not just everyone killing on sight one another. To make this happen, we need 2 things. 1. A negative to killing another, I suggest having their blood on your hands. The more you kill, murder or bandit kill, the more blood you gain on your body to a limit basically of being bathed in blood, possibly to a max of 20 combined kills of others. It will gradually increase your presence to zombies to a varying degree to very high enough to attract zombies as if you have just fired a gun by standing there covered in blood. Perhaps even add a visual, of the blood on your character to warn others you mean business, and to potentially look like a badass bandit. The effect would be permanent to only that character until death, but an item as rare as antibiotics could remove all the blood off your body to make the punishment for murder severe enough to everyone. Whats the purpose of entering a town if you kill everyone else for their loot? 2. More incentive for being in groups to warrant even grouping up with others, the incentives, I have not though of yet however, but there has to be more.
  5. It may work, the only problem is if it caused some kind of error trying to spawn you and you get stuck or of the such, it sort of ruins immersion aswell because your moved. I believe a true remedy is a sound upon logging in, with varying noise depending upon your murders and bandit kills. It would punish those who murder too much only if they spawn inside buildings or other high traffic areas.

As of currently there is a literal 0% chance that I would party with anyone ingame, the chance logically should be the same for anyone who has played the game for a week and know how to survive on their own. The only people I would potentially play with is people I meet out of game, but ingame, until something changes there will be no hope. At first I wanted to play with someone, but everyone killed me, I don't kill others as it just starts being a cunt train full circle, so now I only play at night and avoid players. At first It was nice to imagine surviving with another, but that is not possible with KoS. Currently to me Advantages:Blood pack, Support Disadvantages:Death I only needed to list one Disadvantage, there are many more but only that one is needed to be stated. You can regen your health on your own if you know how, support is only needed if you are reckless or enter a hostile territory when the server is near full. But death, is the end. Because you have depended on another person you have failed. Because of the mentality of the general populace , the lack of penalty of killing another, and lack of incentive of being in a group make the game the way it is. 2/3 is needed for what you seek, and because of anonymity enabling any person into a cunt, that makes only the last 2 the option to change the direction of player vs player interactions.

    Smoking Zombies?

    I believe in future they should add more different category of zombies of what they drop when killed. Already we have civilians which generally drop soda and food which I would in reality advise against eating. And military zombies which have a chance to drop ammo. There could be smokers, rare zombies say, like town doctors that have a chance to drop medical supplies which are generally only obtainable down south or in military areas. There are many options, smokers and doctors are just two, it could really further expand the game when it gets there.

Well one problem with it, is that the player knows someone is right there, so they will just keep trying until they enter then attempt to kill that person, would allow people who log off in cities to know straight away as well. I believe the best solution would to make some sort of entry sound every time you logged in. For example lets say every time you logged in after your initial spawn, to your character it felt like you have been asleep, every time after you logged in, your character would make some kind of sound. Perhaps said sound could reflect off how many murders or bandits you have killed. If you are neutral perhaps a string of coughs that would not attract zombies, if you have murdered others it would seem to your character waking from a nightmare, and the more murders the louder the sound he makes is to a limit, this would attract zombies. Killing bandits would keep your peace of mind and you would spawn in as is currently, if you killed enough bandits, you could potentially change from nightmares to coughs, to peace of mind.

    Personally I believe the penalty of killing another player is having their blood on your hands. The more you kill, the easier zombies will sense you, it will never fade, the effect starts slowly but can become massive, say if you killed over 20 players it would be comparable to you being soaked in blood, would be nice if it had a visual. The only way to remove would be an item as rare as antibiotics.

    Remove barbed wire

    At a moment like this, where this item can be duplicated, there are few choices. One could be to remove it entirely until duplication is fixed, which would help tremendously. Or if possible change how they are placed. Instead of being able to be placed everywhere, have it have the characteristics of placing a tent, to only limit being outdoors and even then being a bitch to place. It would certainly strain the people who place these things. Another advanced option would to change barb wire to instead allow you to crawl under it, yet still retain tent characteristics except allow them to be placed indoors. Though I do not know how hard the last one would be to implement, so first 2 is supposedly best.

    Why all the bandit hatred?

    I believe everyone moans about pvp, because thats all this game is, the chance to team up with someone ingame is almost non-existent if you both have decent gear and see each other. Even when you just spawned trying to make friends, many people will still kill you on site, which gives off the feeling you are going to be alone or continually die until you meet someone who doesn't shoot you on site. Then later after you two find a gun he will axe you from behind to take it. Personally I believe there is no fix to this, with anonymity, people more often then not would be a cunt, which leads other who are not cunts to kill anyone they meet because they finally got decent gear on their own and with past experiences they would be killed by cunts, or others killed by cunts when they had decent gear, and thats why everyone hates bandits. Also barbed wire, the only people alive to gather/glitch so much of the stuff and a cunt enough to block every building would be a bandit. In the end because they all kill each other, they are all considered bandits now, even if they just wanted to protect their gear. Aswell to players like me, this game is generally unplayable as I don't kill others to continue the cunt chain. If they suck at aiming however, they will die.

    Only one change

    There is only one change that is direly needed. Put the restrictions of a tent, and apply it to barb wire, that means not even indoors. I see that as the only "right now" solution to solve barb wire everywhere due to duplication. Perhaps future use would be the same as above except usable indoors with being able to crawl under the barbed wire. Or does anyone else have any other ideas for this epidemic?
