    I would say anything that can be held should be considered a melee weapon: -bottles -cans -books -forks -dead-fish -raw-meat -dildos (maybe not dildos) -paper-weights -trophies

    I'm not too worried about the SimCity and Diablo III issues for DayZ because those games [correct me if I'm wrong] didn't have an alpha release. Meaning people assumed everything to be polished and trouble-free when they purchased it. Whereas if the servers suck for DayZ in the beginning, I don't think too many people will care, well, the dedicated fans won't. Anyone remember when it used to take 45 min to get in a server for DayZ mod? lol
  9. I really hope the endgame is not focused on scripted events that will allow players to get "special items" and shit. Rather I hope the endgame is all survival work and preparedness. For example, after securing a suitable location for a camp you would start tilling land and planting crops. You would have to take-care of these crops as well. Sorry this thread is kinda short, but I won't play DayZ if there are recycled C-130 crashed "Events"/NPC raids as brought up in the devblog Q&A.

    Congratulations, you jumped on the band-wagon. EDIT: As profit Chaboswki said: nerf = to limit the effectiviness. Lets use substition to help you understand. "And that's precisely what I mean by indirectly [limiting the effectiviness] of PVP." Limiting the effectiviness = nerf, nerf = limiting the effectiviness. Honestly, are we still on about this?

    The only reason I PVP is because there is nothing interesting to do in the mod. It's boring lol. When SA comes out, I will finally be able to retreat to my cave and build myself a little place to survive the zeds.
