    I'm going to have to disagree with this, lately people on forums and reddit have been acting pretty arrogant and nasty towards eachother. Many threads seem to get popular because everyone wants to bash the OP, unfortunately this pushes all the good civilized threads to the attic. But like I said, things will calm down once SA is released. And that's as far as I'm gonna go on this topic.

    There are some valid points in this, specifically about the community. Although I think after the SA is released people will calm down and become more civilized. I'd like to think I'm a fan of the game but ultimately my choice to buy the game will come down to the qaulity. If it's good I'll buy it, if it's not I won't. It's really that simple [for me].

    Lol this is a wonderful idea and tbh I'm not sure while people are being so closed-minded. Who cares if its not accurate, the fear factor alone would be enough.
  9. You'll never see this post but for melee weapons it should be anything and everything that your hand could possibly hold: can of beans, raw meat, compass, splint, crowbar, baseball bat, etc... It shouldn't just be limited to "weapons", becuase in reality if all you had was a can of beans and you were getting attacked, you would bash that zed with your beans.

    My hopes for when they begin working on vehicles is that they start small. I hope they master all the dynamics associated with the bicycle before moving on to say the motorcycle.

  18. Here is my suggestion: I think Rocket wants to have minimal UI icons that directly tell you what is wrong with your character. I beleive he wants us to connect with our character and use our actual problem solving skills to determine what may be wrong with our character (ie..sick, broken leg, etc..). The following [crude] images are an example of what I think could possibly be done with the Inventory System to ensure what I previously said. How to diagnose your character: Healthy..... Sick... How to indicate/represent "Blood Loss": Minor blood loss: Medium blood loss: Major blood loss: *Note, The blood elements are dynamic and gradual, meaning there aren't just 3 stages (min,med,maj), the amount of blood that "drips" on to your UI is dependent upon how much blood you have lost.*

    I started over, but I could not create a third partition for (T:\) Tools because I can't shrink my OS partition. So I just mapped my BI TOOLS 2.5 to my OS partition. Still getting same error as before though.
  22. Nice post. What about like in minecraft where if you are shot by arrows you can see the arrows on your character in the inventor screen? For example, in DayZ it would be if your character has a broken leg, then he wouldn't stand upright in the UI.
