Milking cows is a great idea that could go with gardening/harvesting. May be more plausible in instance-implemented bases. -

I agree with your point that zombies are relatively pointless although I would like to point out that zombies do have loot. I don't agree with instanced combat scenarios, it makes me think of people using a LFG menu for a Starry Sobor instance. As far as losing everything upon death, I think that is crucial to the core of DayZ. What could be different though is your characters personal achievements could stay with you upon death (ie....stats, morality, etc...). -

This is true and [with clarification] I now understand the OP. It's sort of like the term "MMO", if someone says "MMO" you're never gonna think of CoD, rather you're gonna think of WoW, Rift, etc... -

For realism sake, sure why not. Thats how it would be in an apocolypse. First I would look at statistics of current post-soviet states to see how many people drive/depend on cars (much of Chernarus looks like it could be made up of self sustaining farmers) and ff it makes sense, then yes it should be implemented. -

The general consesus (by most physicists and physics textbooks) is that it is a very slow moving liquid, therefore I believe it is a liquid. -
