The part about how everyone will eventually turn to banditry is an opinion. The last paragraph and sentence is based on facts. DayZ is always changing and if you want to succeed (at least easier than not being a bandit) then you must change with it.

I doubt you were able to stare at your blood intently while being raped by a bunch of zombies. The hit that knocked you out might have been the one to drop you below 9k.

It's not a glitch. Read the wiki and do some reading before raging, scrub. If Blood < 9000 then one hit can knock you out. Not a glitch

Quick question. Could I be banned for finding and taking a Coyote Backpack from a hackers corpse, who obviously hacked it in? He was dead just laying there. Could I be global banned for taking and using it? I mean who wouldn't take a Coyote when you find it as soon as you spawn down next to Balota? Btw, yes I used the search button. Couldn't find anything about this.

Everything is all cleared up, wasn't hacked in. I explained in my post above. I would have gotten banned by now if it was hacked anyways if what you guys are saying is true. Have had it for like 6 hours of gameplay so far. I guess I'm just a lucky sob for finding it xD

Seriously? Oh. Thought they only spawn in the NWA My reasoning that he was a hacker was because all he had was a ghillie, Coyote, and an axe in hand. He was laying next to another poor fellow who also had an axe. I thought you could only get Coyotes in the NW so I reasoned that nobody in their right mind would come from the NW with only a axe, ghillie, and a coyote down to Balota to die. He was dead right next to the tents at Balota so he could have got that from the stands. Makes sense now. Wasn't a hacker... I guess.

I've noticed the same thing. I've killed over 10 guys down near Cherno and Elecktro on different lives and I still have yet to encounter a DC. People up north are a bunch of try hards that care to much about their gear. Hence why they DC. That's my opinion.

DCing has always been out of hand. Guess you haven't been around long enough or didn't notice. Only real tip I can give you that really isn't all that helpful is kill them before they get the chance to DC.

It's not a terrible idea but it might not really fit in with the setting of DayZ. Maybe it would, maybe it wouldn't. Problem though is how would you deal with people and snipers camping the edges of the safe zones? They could just sit on a hill and just pick off people as they enter and leave the safezone. It would definately need some serious thinking and work to make it worthwhile and functional.

Could be hackers. They are rampant these days. One jumped out of the bushes at me near Balota with a Ghillie, Hatchet, and a Coyote Backpack. He was back shortly after to try to kill me again with the same gear. Like 5 minutes later -_-

Cherno's docks are shaped different. Cherno has a little part that juts into the corner if you look at a map. Elecktro's curve's smoothly like in the picture.

Zombies are a huge problem for mi imo because they can now knock you out when you're below 9k blood. And trust me, when your knocked out like that, you're out for a WHILE. I nearly died once by that and actually did another time. 8.5k blood. zombie hits me once eats me alive and can't do shit about it

Amazing story. And from my point of view, yes you did do the right thing. He and his buddys had the intention of killing you. You had every right to kill him.

Ya the new aggro system is all luck. There really isn't any way to tell if something will aggro or not.

So the other day I went into Berezino to do my usual route at night which is: Hospital Grocery store Cafe Industrial sheds tree stand escape However my adventure went awry when I reached the cafe, lagged out, logged back in, and to my surprise, my beloved crossbow was eaten. I then picked up a Winchester so I had some kind of primary. So I decided this mission was FUBAR and decided to have a little fun. I threw a total of 30 glowsticks throughout the cafe, 10 of each color. They were very glitch and some would only light up when you step on them, making the cafe appear to be an amazing rave club. And remember this was at night. From the outside, the cafe looked absolutely amazing. I had also brought 5 razor wire fences to set up in town to annoy people. I decided to put these on all but the back door of my club and covering some of the streets. I also threw a total of 20 flares throughout the city streets, lighting the place up. It was awesome. This is where it gets interesting. I finished setting up my club and was crouching inside next to the front door which was covered in razor wire. I saw a flash of movement through a couple of the windows and a guy tried to shove himself through the front door only to realize its blocked off. He then looked up at me and we locked eyes for a split second before I unloaded 2 Winchester rounds into his face, killing him instantly before he could fire a single shot. I looked in his ALICE pack and he had a DMR with 3 mags and NVG's. I was truly estatic. I then looted his body which had a M4A1 SD with 3 mags. M4A1 SD vs. Winchester. What do you think would win? Honestly I don't know how I survived since I truly shouldn't have. I just wonder what the kid thought when he was killed by some lunatic wielding a winchester, sitting in a cafe at night, lit up with 30 glowsticks and laced with razor wire, while the city is practicaly on fire by flares. I can only imagine... Oh the lolz. I guess for discussional value, post your most strange moments as being a bandit.
