Hey all you Wireworld DayZ gamers, Just to let you know that the server I rented has been turned off by the new owners of Wireworld and I didn't get a chance to get any data off it as it happened while I was in Hospital having my operation :( The good news is that we have a new TS3 server called Soho Wales with the usual password if you'd like to keep in touch and I hope we all do. If any of you want to get together and keep the Wireworld 'flame alive' I'm up for renting a server as long as we can share the monthly cost. Thoughts? Kindest regards as always Mac ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OUTDATED FROM HERE: Welcome Survivors, Bandits and DayZ Fans, GB Wireworld Game Studio - Cafe and Bar - Private Hive Server [<UK>] (1.7.7.1/Beta 103419) GMT -3 | 3rdP:on | CH:off | Tags:off - DayZ - Nobody does it Better The GB Wireworld Server runs DayZ 1.7.7.1 on our dedicated Quad Core i5 Box with a 100mb connection. The Server has been up 24/7 since September 2012. Sidechat is enabled and new players and groups wishing to make it their home are very welcome. We have a great community of players who play on-line and from my LAN Center. The Server is a 'slow burner', it's a place to spend quality DayZ time, its a place to call home and it's a place where you get to know our regular players via TS3. Fancy playing DayZ like it's meant to be played? Then apply for the whitelist and come and join us today, GB Wireworld Needs You!!! How to get whitelisted on the server: Please don't PM me here to request access, just search wireworld in dayzcommander with all filters off and join. The server whitelist software will kick you and record your GUID. Please apply by sending me a mail to [email protected] with your player name, age, location and a little about yourself, play style etc and I'll add you to the whitelist! Server Play style & details: The Server is a 100% pure Vanilla DayZ Experience, no green zones, it's a "do what you like, kill who you want" server. I'm the only admin (Mr Mac) and I always do my best to look after our players. No admin abuse is guaranteed as I love to play DayZ too. We have our own 64 player TS3 Server and I insist our players use it when playing. Passworded Channels are no longer available. Database is backed up every hour, mostly hacker free since September 15th. (You know who you were boys.... shame on you all >:( ) Many Thanks to R4Z0R49 for his support and help with this server and for letting us test his pre-release Builds. GB Wireworld Server Setup and our Custom Scripts: Animated Crash sites - Choppers actually fly in and crash to the ground! Random Air Raids Event 15 mins at key locations (If you hear a Air Raid Siren sound, run for your life!) AN2 Supply Cargo drops every 45 mins with a good chance of Antibiotics in the loot now plus all spawns have been re-done to include all of the map. JSRS Sound Mod 1.5 is now allowed on the server Full Moon Nights. Combat Loggers get a penalty on re-log - Unconscious for 5 mins plus bleeding and infected - doesn't kill you but leaves you on very low blood. New Script: You can now remove items from vehicles, wheels, engine, etc. All EMPTY Vehicles are removed 2 days after spawing in. Vehicles with items in their inventory are not removed. (Gets rid of stripped down vehicles) Restarts are every 6 hours. Timezone is GMT -3 with no dark playtime, I run a custom server launch script that bypasses the time between sundown and moon rise. 40 Player Server Side Channel is enabled. 64 slot Teamspeak 3 Server - players MUST use it to play on GB Wireworld, it's our only server rule! Tents no longer removed after death and stay for 999 days 50 Vehicle Spawns now including helicopters. New Script: Backpacks now work as normal during play but they loose ALL ammo on player logout, all other items now stay, food, bloodbags etc - (anti Infinite ammo backpack glitch fix). Server News: AN2 Care Package drops have been increased to 4 - 5 drops every 45 mins and spawns have been redone so they can happen anywhere on the map now. (testing) Antibiotics Care Package drop rates have also increased and M4A1 CCO SD's have been added to the Care Packages loot tables too. Enjoy Mr Mac -

Backpack script is working very well, now only ammo gets removed when you log out, all other items remain! Razor is going to try to modify it so it only removes part used clips, full clips will stay as well! It might be integrated into DayZ as a server toggle option too.... Watch this space. Big news!!! Ward has kindly provided us with a new script the allows you to keep ALL your backpack items except for the ammo.. Blood Bags, Food and all that stuff now stays. Testing live from tonight's 5pm server restart. :beans: :beans: :beans: :beans: for Ward! Kind regards Mac -

Server News: Server is back to 6 hour restarts - beta 103718 is causing some lag issues. Please downgrade your beta to 103419 to play. Messed up yesterday with the 1.7.7.2 hotfix files from R4AZ0R, sorry J-Dog and Greenie, I'll wait until official release to update. Just update to 1.7.7.1 using DayZCommander and DONT use our dayz.rar files Kind regards Mac -

Just heard from R4AZ0R that Anti's can spawn anywhere on the map, give up on the hospitals lads and just get hunting for them.... lots of new loot spawns too, keep your eyes open. Mac -

Thanks for the post :) I know the backpacks are a bit of a pain but we're all getting used to it and the feedback so far is mostly positive with regards to no more infinite ammo. A definite game changer for the better. Today I've added a script that allows you to remove parts from vehicles, this should help with the lack of industrial loot in 1.7.7. So far it's testing well with no glitches. We've just found out that resting at tents can cure infection as long as it's your tent. That helps with the low spawn of Antibiotics. It can take quite a few tries to get cured mind! We have a few more new players and the community is starting to re-build nicely so if you could get your friends on that would be great, beanz for you :beans: :beans: :beans: Kind regards Mr Mac. -
Hey R, Only issue we have is when looking at vehicle repairs from the outside more wheels are showing up than the vehicle has, eg LM2Wheel and it's not a bus! As for the Lag, it seems to be caused by Zd's not despawing when you drive away. If you stop and re-connect FPS is fine (but I bet you knew that anyway)! Kind regards Mac
