Is it weird that I have played DayZ for about 60-80 hours now and i have never found a map or a compass yet? Any ideas?

thanks for the ideas everyone. im really just wanting a compass, since i play windowed fullscreen mode and can look at a map whenever.

i have been in apts. and when i find other players i either die from snipe, or they dont have anything and i let them be.

Having trouble with debug monitor covering up ear/eye icons on the right? This is how to fix it. go into steam/userapps/arma 2 and steam/userapps/arma op arrowhead and right click the .exe files (arma2.exe and ArmA2OA.exe) that run the game. click properties, then goto compatibility tab, then click disable scaling on high DPI settings. ALSO make sure both resolutions are set to the same.
