The game actully looks pretty good, i'm happy to see more and more games coming out using the idea of an open dynamic zombie appocalypse world. Sadly this game won't have much succes on PC, since it's being published by Microsoft so we can expect it to use the horrible Games For Windows Live system which will turn off alot of people and reduce sales.

Your comment makes no sense. The guy said, servers should be allowed to let people change to 3D person if they want to. He was compleating about Recruit servers which add GIANT name tags on everyone making it easy to spot players that are very far away from you and i agree with him. Playing on Recruit and Regular servers slightly reduces the hardcore exp. of Day Z. Specialy the ones which allow you to see yourself on the map.

It's been happening to everyone today thanks to the new update. Been playing all day with 3 buddies, all 4 of us had the same graphical glitches.

I didn't make the vid(obviously), just sharing to everyone. Begining of the vid is kinda meh but the last min or so made me laught pretty good.

Actully i used search and this is the only thread i found. So, the same thing happens to me. I start of with a nice 25-40 fps and the it slowly starts droping down. Even goes under 10 fps after a longer while.

Iv'e tryed to play other games and didn't have any issues at all, only when i try to play ArmA 2 and Day z my whole internet connection goes compleatly down. I join a server, i get to the lobby screen and after that it eather gets stuck in a loading screen or i get message then i lost connection to the server. Is anyone else having this issue ? I don't belive it was caused by the new ArmA 2 : OA steam update becuse i was able to play Day z today for about an hour without any issues and then all the sudden this started to happen. Only Day z and ArmA 2 make my connection go down, other online multiplayer games work fine online (Team fortress 2,space marine,left 4 dead,etc)

Well i started playing about 2 weeks ago, during the first week i acted like a nice guy. Kept away from the coast, didn't get a single murder in my first 7 days but after a while i got bored of that and decided to try out the bandit way. I really don't see why you'd consider a player to be a noob if he kills people, it's part of the game.

As the title says, how many murders do you need for the game to register your character as a bandit ? I'm at 11 now with my curent character, does the game register me as a bandit or not ?

Nope, i'm pretty mad atm. I finally found all the best stuff, all i had left is to get a ghilie suit. After 5 hours searching for a crash site i finally found one, i was about to head towards it untill the server kicked me out due to a high ping, i went to join a new server and found out my character got compleatly wiped. Played 8 hours straight today to get all the awesome things and now i lost it all becuse of a character wipe, so no i'm not happy.

1st : Installing the beta match made matters ever worser 2nd : i allready did a manual instalation once and i still get that error if i try to join a server using the regular game and not six launcher

I have Arma 2 and Arma 2 : OA i downloaded the Day z files thru Six Updater and even manualy,i folowed PC gamer's guide how to install everything properly i also added "-mod=@dayz -nosplash" in the launch options of Arma 2 : OA and yes i did start the game as Arma 2 Combined Operations but the mod still doesn't work. I always get these 2 messages http://steamcommunity.com/id/SanityIsForTheWeak/screenshot/1173435535761780974 and http://steamcommunity.com/id/SanityIsForTheWeak/screenshot/1173435535761754369 Can anyone help me out with this ? I got the mod to work, somewhat. Day z only works for me when i use the six launcher, if i use steam or the six updaters i cannot play the game at all. Problem is now, battleye keeps kicking me out of games becuse apparently i have an 'unknown' version of the game
