A buddy and I were visiting the NW airfield when we found a bicycle. My buddy proceeded to ride out in to the middle of the runway as bait. Some pillock saw him and stood in the middle of the field taking shots at him. Dropped him with my SVD. Then another guy appeared out of nowhere in the middle of the runway and I popped him in 2 shots. So gullible, and no regret on my part since they fired first :)

Hello. Recently a group of guys I've met recently on these forums and myself have formed something of a survivor group. We're looking for as many guys as possible to join us, not because we necessarily want 10 guys running around above Cherno, rather various members of our party belong to different time zones (ETZ, GMT, CET etc.) and it's good to have at least 4-6 or so playing at the same time. Since Ben and I have started this group we tend to base our activities around GMT standard time (Western European Time). It's extremely preferable that you have Skype, Steam, Timespeak or all three and that you're active for at least a few hours every day or two although obviously it's not a huge deal. Please don't contact me if you're a novice who plays sporadically. Our group is pretty much made up of casual players; we usually just set goals for ourselves as we play and generally just try and loot military/residential buildings for items useful to any new guys. As is the case with most groups we mostly attack anyone who's deemed a threat although we tend not to kill noobs and defenseless people. Hey. A friend and I are looking for one or two serious-minded players to join our party. I figured this sub-forum was the best place to put this advertisement because there seems to be a higher ratio of experienced players - noobs. While we are what many people would consider bandits, we don't kill new players, unarmed players or players who come in peace. However we do follow a 'shoot on sight' policy otherwise mainly because that's the same course followed by the vast majority of people. We're both experienced DayZ players with months of experience, good military kit and a cautious, patient method when it comes to playing the game, meaning we don't rush in to red zones with guns blazing. At times we will wait for targets for 20, 30 minutes. However we're not tremendously 'hardcore'; we play for fun and don't rage out when we die, nor do we ghost or disconnect when close to death. Here here. Although I've never logged out when death via bandit was imminent, I can sort of understand if you're just trying to live in peace, loot and kill zombies and then some bandit bastard shoots you in the back for no reason other than to take your stuff. In that case I would struggle to be offended. As for your encounters, I agree it's utterly pathetic. I suppose it depends on whether you despise bandits as much as I do.

Hey, looking for a fairly experienced player or two to become my partner/form a group. At the moment the only guy who I trust lives in a -6 hour time zone and works a lot so I preferably need somebody who lives in Europe, although an American who just plays the game a hell of a lot would do fine I suppose. I need people who have a grasp of the basic elements of the inventory system, shooting and DayZ survival in general, although I don't particularly want uber-nerds simply because I've found very experienced players tend to be back-stabbing bandit scum-bags.
