He had been on the server since i rebooted it to install the latest patch. But it had been up and running about 15 to 20 minutes, so i'd have expected it to change. Because 4 other players had logged in and all the other players had (OK) next to their name. Like i say i politely asked him if he could log out and log back in to verify it using say -1 global say.... but he instantly logged out and didnt come back.

Hi fellow sever admins, I have a questions regarding GUID's WHen i use BERcon i can obviously see what players are logged into the server. I had an incident the other night where the server posted a battleye message about banning 11,000 people so far for hacking etc. This usually indicates that it has found someone using something suspicious as each time someone normally gets kick banned from the server. When i do a players command in BERcon i get this: 0496523d5d56b68117095a2805f2363d(?) ace but every other player will have (OK) next to their name. Obviously to me that indicates that either they are using a dodgy cd key, or spoofing one perhaps to cover themselves as they are already banned? I left it for 10 minutes to see if the players status would change to OK, which it didnt so i kindly asked them to look into it and they instantly logged off. Now it could be something out of nothing, but the server says his GUID is unverified, so i thought id ask fellow server admins for their advice and guidance. THanks in advance

Hi there, Your GUID flagged up on my Rcon screen as possibly suspect. The server posted a message about battleye finding something. As we have had a hacking incident last night, we are keeping an eye out for suspect players and unfortunately your GUID was not verified by the server. As soon as the server is back up i will remove the ban, as i only set it to 120 minutes so it would expire. I cant do it right now as the server has gone offline (i think your hosting company is performing updates) Sorry for the inconvinience Many thanks

Evening all, We seem to have had a few hackers decend upon our server tonight. As theyve just warped everyone on my server to a certain point and killed them all. For some reason when i click on the map, and click server control i get a "Battleye script restriction #54" and get kicked off the server. Its really starting to piss me off to be frank, as i cant seem to get rid of the guys doing it which in turn has pissed off the users of the server as they are all now dead in a big pile. When i log into my ACPlayer for my server, i get an Rcon client button to click on however everything i type in that seems to just get ignored. Is anyone else having the above issue? THanks

I have a question regarding my server. When i ordered it i asked for UK routing... however my server is also based in Luxembourg? Why is this the case?

While i agree with the comments you make about research, you need to bear in mind that on Vilayers website it clearly states "instant setup". You cant advertise this if you are not physically able to do so. If this is because of getting the server registered with the hive or whatever, then so be it... you just simply cannot claim to be instant. It is false advertising and should really be removed. I think its more of a ploy to get people to buy with them, as most other hosts dont state instant. I myself went with Vilayer after seeing some good reviews on the forum. However in my personal experience ive found their customer service to be top form shite! When i ordered the server i received no confirmation from them. Only from Paypal for placing my order. They then went radio silent on me for 4 days without even so much as update as to what was going on. When i opened a ticket to ask them for an update it was closed with no update. When my server did come online, i wasnt even told, and it just appeared as active on my account and my billing date was also set to the date i originally ordered, meaning i lost 5 days total usage. In my opinion that is unacceptable, and utterly shameful. I accept that these servers wont be instant because of the fact that they need approval etc. But vilayer claim to have a bunch of whitelisted IPs. So again this shouldnt cause the delay it does. Im now considering my options as to whether i move provider. At present my server is running ok, however im thinking of going dedicated but just not sure yet. Cheers

Hi Guys, i did a search for a thread relating to this, however i cant find anything so wanted to ask. I am logged into the control panel for my server, and ive noticed the following player is currently on there: P7P0P0P7Q bot squarepants To me that is a slight concern, as bot in my old game playing days was never a good thing. So i wanted to ask if anyone else has had this kind of thing appear on theirs, and what i should do? Cheers

One player posted a video of one single kick. That's conclusive. Again I repeat we kicked based on what we believed was blatant trolling. We never admitted kicking multiple players. Your argument is flawed straight away. So please take your business elsewhere I've spoken to Bass privately about this so as far as I'm concerned the matter is closed Back you go... Goodbye.

Clear cut case? Where is your proof? A YouTube video and a forum post. About as clear cut as muddy water. I've just said lets out the matter to bed. An isolated incident and it's been cleared up. It wasn't admin abuse but we did what we felt was right at the time based on what was going on. Don't be an idiot and keep bringing it up

All I read then was blah blah blah. It's a contradiction. You CAN password the server but you're not allowed to. Then why say you CAN when you can't This is the first game I've known where you can essentially run you're own server but at the same time have next to zero control over what goes on. So clearly you are a better admin... Because essentially you are good at doing nothing. Congratulations
