  4. Yapp lost my best gear yet to a hostile toilet door at 03:01 nw. Shit Happens and i was Pissed off. I felt dumped, excreted and downright messy. The Game or Mod had flushed me to the Core of it's sewery alpha Stage, Even if it was actually ARMA who let me down. And Yes this iPad Thing Loves to make capital letters whereever it wants. Verbal diarrhea As pumishment.

  8. If a resource is less available it becomes more desirable. While your risk of wasting a bullet increases so does the reward if the target has the required item, After having been shot several times I also realised that cooperation is weak. Shoot first. Simple Game Theory. (not Video Game Theory ;) ) http://en.wikipedia....iki/Game_theory Coop is cool when I can trust. If I am alone, if I am first to shoot, I survive. So I shoot now 100% of the time first. Loot is a secondary advantage. If surrounded by psycho and sociopaths you have to act like one to survive. Sad but true.

    Exactly, you either run like mad or use the MS crawl simulator 2.0 mode. Both work, but suck. Yesterday I ran like mad, attracting all, from my spawn position into elektro, loose then I easily went around elektro in Crawl simulator mode at night with visual 3. Before you carefully planned your course, now ... I dunno.. i think it sucks ..

  17. Tried to find this suggestion in a thread, no luck. What about a start at the same time mode, where all loot is there and it's more or less a scramble for survival as if a real apocalypse hit. In the moment, it's more like a guy from a wrecked ship arrives at the shore and has to deal with an already established scenario. Survivors without weapons could start at the same point and then it would be carnage or not. Most patient wins or not. First one to hit the weapons might gain an advantage but also would have to deal with more infected. The more patient could let the other ones die. This is not meant as a replacement, just as another possible game scenario. Let's say a competitive mode. Last one surviving wins. It would obviously also involve Death Match elements. Then the upped zombie aggro would make sense. If games would be oo long one could even up the zombie aggro more. But this would obviously make this a game instead of a griever magnet .. :D

  23. Can go the other way, someone spawned before me and got a bullet in the back, after I shot him before. Funnily both bodies where there to loot. It wasn't jdz incident, since I shot the guy from 500 m with my enfield. The player had obviously reconnected. Sadly at the wrong moment.. :D

    What do you actually do if you have all necessary gear to survive in the woods? While it is theoretically possible. You can stay in the woods near a lake with a water bottle, a hunting knife, matches and a hatchet. But is it a game? Do you honestly want to stay for hours on a server doing nothing. So I guess you go out and see if you can find some bandits and try to annoy them. Something like make it to that safe zone, or built a fort would be more constructive than just ramping up Z aggro. All it does is to make it slightly more annoying to become a bandit or help others to become bandits. And bear traps without bears is just another invitation to annoy others. Barbed wire that doesn't affect zombies is also just there to grief. What would I do in a survival situation after I collected all necessary gear is to build a safe area. OK, I can build a fenced area with a tent that isn't safe from Zeds. Didn't try a bear trap yet, so I don't know if they help against zeds or if they are just another invitation to grief others in lack of an actual possibility to build a persistent safe area.
