if you actually find a hatchet, you need to remove it from your toolbelt and then reload it. Crowbars are crap. I also got killed once as I had flares and instead of hitting with the crowbar I was throwing flares. RTMF :D

MK 48 love that gun. 100 bullets, one shot kills, zeds go down as they should. No pussy sniper action. Win.

I play in a community ex clan. We have an arma and a l4d2 section. So i played with people from the arma section, i never met before. I carried a AS 50 and a MK 48. They looked at me all funny, constantly mentioning my gear. I gave away my AS 50 to a recruit. They also went all jumpy when I switched from the GS17 (which is crap besides the light) to my main. Give away your gear make other people the target ;) In groups larger than two, you can see who you can trust. If all fails you know how you can get your stuff back.

I met a gut in our playing community, very infantile, that wants to humiliate players more by being killed by a girl. Also constantly has a wank off about what guns he has. Hoards like a hamster. He claims he has to go to work, so can't be 5, but McDonalds has probably issues with some of their staff :D

Try to play friendly if you want a challenge :)

I got ninjad with legs broken by a running zombie in the middle of the night north of Berenzino, Was under the illusion, that you could press W forever.. Yeah you start underestimating them and then boom ..

if that person has a gun at that point he|she would have shot you already. The idea simply means you say friendly, other person says friendly and you can enter a room in a house. Both know if they have the frags in hand either could die, but the other will take damage too.

Which server?

Dunno, I play FPS since ages. Never gave a sh|t about blasting other pixels, cause the games were designed that way. Everyone shoots everybody. Today I shot a non bandit. The two guys were running around Elektro blasting everything they could. I found a dead body in the church. I stayed there 20 minutes while I continously heard shots and the flies over the dead body behind me. Then I went out, met them at the supermarket, shot one and the other one says, "I guess you are not a friendly then". They were fully armed as far as I could see from the recording i took. Since there were only 4 people on the server and I saw one die before I exited the church .. tough luck. I didn't go after the second guy and legged it. Personally I am not really after murders, but if you roll into a city in the middle of the night like the f*cking cavalry, with bodies lying around, assume people get a bit edgy. DayZ is cool, if you shoot someone it makes you think.

Makes it easier to find a post, until everyone does it . :)

I used to never live longer than a day. Now I am 3 days old. I know the map, I know the Zeds, I know the buildings, I know more bugs and that I kill on sight. Before I was sniped at, shot in the back, zeds were ripping me apart etc. I don't even leave the south now without morphine. I avoid the NW airfield, Cherno, Elektro only at night etc. I start taking silly risks though as I am bored. NE airfield gutting an animal on the runway etc .. :D

You can do a surrender stance, if you are mad enough given the sociopaths around you.

Well what about you log off character dies. In real life you would need to find a safe place to sleep. The ridiculously short thirst and hunger timers would need some adaption though. A sleep mode. Would make the game really unique then. Yes people would comb the woods for sleepers, so they would in real life maybe.

I id the same on the NW airfield. Then when I approached the body as I was so far away, he must have dced as someone similar spawned in front of me. Shot in the back two bodies to loot. The accuracy is amazing. Better than the DMR that I carry around in the moment. But I had what I think are clipping problems when zeds get too close. Point blank body shots don't do anything and you get swarmed.
