It can't As you see in this game one person that is a selfish bastard will ruin it for all. In real life they don't shoot you but bully and will do all kinda sh|t until you end up with Stalin again. Evolution needs variation to prepare or future unknown scenarios, hence there will never be a population that is totally homogeneous in the trait selfishness. There will also never be equal resources. What the social scientists call "Maslov's" hierarchy of needs and in the sciences is defined as game theory, evolution, basic biological needs, density dependence, frequency dependence etc will always ensure inequalities, hunger, thirst and animalistic behaviour. Cooperation is good, but you need laws and sanctions to curtail individual selfishness.

Even if we are not headshoted yet :D, that is extremely annoying. I have to log in to sometimes 5 6 servers until I don't play in total darkness. Personally I also hate the servers that tag you in the distance, but want 3dp on so you don't get a seizure after 2 hours running and looking at a wonky screen,

I did that once. Since then I ALWAYS get morphine before, I travel or when like yesterday I end up with a mag more and all my morphine is gone and the one in the backpack is gone too when I find an Alice pack. I also once wanted to die and needed totally blurred 5 zombies until I was dead as I instinctively started to shoot them. I think it's a good idea. Running an hour to you team mates and they to the meeting point then they are all tired and log out sucks though. One could though make meeting points everyone has to travel to a day before, like in real life.

A frag grenade that one could hold with pin drawn, would be cool. Player approaches, says he is friendly, i hold a frag with the pin removed. He shoots, he is dead as my death releases the frag, does he hesitate, he might lie, i can throw the grenade or prepare for betrayal. Also adds a suicide variant. Can i trust player, for a bit, i can put the pin back. I thought it would a possibility to extend the shoot on sight variant a bit, without taking away the option. But it could enable players to talk to each other. Obviously best indoors. If both draw frags, it's ok to talk. It would make approaches more interesting without taking the betrayal option away. :D A suicide belt would be cool too :D Undetectable. If you get betrayed, it makes boom. Can be a loot item, so betrayal is possible but sometimes, sometimes, betrayal will kill the betrayer. A new form of paranoia. Should be part of the game. You can then also bluff that you have one. POKER :)

Snipers are a good mind fuck. Without them this mod would become average. It's all about unfairness. When a friend suggested Dayz, he said it would be unfair. I ran 3 hours trough the woods yesterday and I was on edge all the time. Constantly scanning the horizon, watching my profile, crossing fields I had to, with that constant danger in mind.

I did when I didn't know about audible range, a couple of times. On the other hand I nearly died to a bandit I ran into accidentally with a Winchester, I shot first but because the thing didn't take her down instantly, I got shot too. Only the second one took her out. Buddy had to blood bag me. One shot kill weapons are the deal.

Dunno had an elektro spawn with instant zed aggro. Another one just looked over the hill, aggro.

I dunno, when i was new, i first died to zeds, then when i thought, i got it, i got sniped and tracked and murdered. I never even bothered to coop. I run or shoot and i never asked for help, nor did anyone help me. And mad moments make the mod cool. You would rarely get that in tf2. If you want to give newbs weapons, why not drop them and withdraw to safe distance, while keeping the.ch on them. That's a better way than insisting on trust reinstall confidence back carefully.

Simulators aren't games in the traditional sense. A military simulator needs foremost weapons accuracy, imo. A game engine just needs to look neat. Simulators need to get other things right before looks. Arma has also ofp as a history, so maybe in places outdated. Still that open world feeling is better than cryengine imo.

Found an as50 and a MK48 in one crash site. Gifted the as50, found a cz550. I also advise you to scan the north, All the hoarders collect stuff there, so rich pickings and no zeds. :)
