They suck. I run faster then they move in water. There is no storage available in them. Make them faster...make them move like a real boat. Right now they move like they have no propeller at all. Give them storage like any other vehicle. That is all.

I have tried every resolution for both screen and 3D resolutions with AA and VSync on and off. Nothing works. The flush command sometimes makes it worse. In fact relogging corrects the issue for about 30 seconds. Once all the dead soldiers load shit hits the fan again. Flush will actually cause the issue if I relog and run the command right away when the issue hasnt started yet.

Another noob crying for the removal of items he never gets to use. Just because the world has gone to shit does not mean that these military items magically dissapear from the world. Grow a set. I have never even gotten to use a thermal. Doesn't mean I want them gone. Since Dimes123 seems to think that "survival horror" means removal of certain items then I think we should remove every item from the game. Just run around with packs of zombies on you and see how long you live. I say make this a true survival game and put in every single weapon, item or whatever you can possibly think of that exists in real life. It's still a simulator.

I agree but I don't believe that 2-5 minutes is necessary. When someone logs out they should have the option to wait the timer or immediately disconnect. Either way their character will stay in the game, killable by zombies and other players for 1 minute. That player should then not be able to reconnect to another server for 2-3 minutes to prevent them from server hopping or duplicating their character. It's really that simple. If you want to argue about real life happening and having to leave the PC or whatever...just shut up. I leave my character prone on the ground all the time when I have RL things happening. I safe up from zombies and players before I leave. If I can do it...everybody can. If you can't...well sucks to be you. I guess you will lose all your shit. Toughen up girly boy and learn to play. So yes...timers are needed but you need two separate ones to make them work.

Make orchards drop fruit that can be eaten when hungry. Fruit could be fairly hard to see on the ground making searching for them a little difficult. Since there are several orchards in the map it only makes sense that they should be a food source.

That would work...I just thought if it because I was running through an orchard thinking "It would be cool if there was fruit on the ground here I could eat.".

Honestly I would have no problem with all of this if I could easily use my hatchet to kill zombies without having to drop my primary weapon on the ground or move it to my backpack. Hatchet should also have a larger hit area. Right now it is an extremely close range silenced pistol. Really the fact that melee is in ArmA at all is a miracle but I wonder if there is a way to make the hatchet actually have an arc of damage so you don't have to be so ridiculously precise with it.

Sorry but I refuse to risk a global ban by editing a file like that.

These zombies are aggroing from several hundred meters away. While I like the new challenge...its a bit insane. I want to see more zombies in the towns...not zombies that aggro from 5 miles away and respawn immediately effectively swarming you to no end. Besides that, the graphical glitch with the dead NPC military characters is making the game unplayable.

Bullshit. Period. Follow the rules. If Rocket wanted something as unconfirmable as combat logging to be a bannable offense he would say so. As it is he has not. You cannot prove that a player logged during combat and didn't just lose connection or otherwise. Rocket also stated that he would fix the problem. What he did not state is that people can be banned for it. You may say it's out of context but you are breaking the rules and putting words in Rockets mouth. Show me the post where Rocket states players can be banned for exploiting. Go ahead...I will wait.

Combat logging is not a bannable offense. Player should be unbanned regardless of what the admin thinks or how he feels. Fail. He just admitted that the OP was banned for a non-bannable offense.

Yeah...I am pretty sure that "Asshat" is not one of the bannable offenses. Funny how he bans you calling you an asshat when the act of him banning you when he knows he isn't allowed to makes him an asshat. BLACKLIST EM! RAWR!!! Just another admin who thinks they are special and above the rules.

I don't understand why people think the players need to provide screenshots. First off...ArmA doesn't support screenshots at all. You have to use a 3rd party program like Fraps just to do that. It is unreasonable to require a player to do this. Now the server admin doing the banning on the other hand should have sufficient proof to back up the ban.

So...I logged on today after work and my game is artifacting to all hell after the update. It actually seems to be the unlootable dead military corpses around the destroyed hummers and whatnot...NorthWest Airfield is a disaster...Stary is a nightmare as well...it's impossible to see at all. Updating drivers for my 560 Ti right now to see if that fixes it.

Yup...you can also buy the PMC expansion and install it. I think that fixes the issue.

Yes...get a toolbox...track down every installed barbed wire fence and take it down. Or ask Rocket to kindly remove said barbed wire until it is fixed.

Excuse me? lol. If you are in a safe location to log out then it should not be an issue if your character is in game for another minute or not. Setting a time delay is really the only way to resolve the abort and Alt-F4 abusing issue anyway. So unfortunately you are out of luck on that one. Timer will eventually be increased. I guarantee that much. 5 seconds does absolutely nothing to the issue in reality. Question is, when the issue is fixed, what will it be increased to?
