What you described is why I love this game. I can hear my heart beating almost through my headset it seems like when the situation is really tense. I don't know another game that has ever done that to me.

I dunno minus all the bells and whistles mods like Epoch and Origins bought in (which I loved). The core of the game for me is the suspense of interacting with random people. Which is prevalent. Though I would like when I shoot someone in the face that they die, not turn around shoot me back and than decide to die. When I can sneak around undetected from Zeds again. Fix the de sync and ill be pleased. All the added stuff later on is just a bonus. Storage will be nice, but not crazy shit where you can have 50000 guns in a safe. That doesn't make any sense.

Player interaction or even watching things unfold from a distance gets my heart pumping, its the anything can happen aspect of this game that makes it great. If you wanna call it being an asshole this isn't the game for you. I mean they do exist, the tools who have to abuse the mic, but for the most part my deaths are I get owned, never saw it, and thats that, move on. Adrenaline or whatever is real for me when I am deep into this game, and it affects decision making.

Its hilarious how when similar games come out people have to totally side with one and anyone who plays the other is a "little kid" (D3, POE, TL2) I love DayZ, but that doesn't mean I absolutely won't try out H1Z1 as well if it seems appealing. If you think those vids look like shit you are kidding yourself. Sorry. If both games are going to offer something that keeps me entertained why wouldn't you play it? So you can flame forums thinking that because you only play DayZ you are some kind of hardcore gaming god? Nah Not really concerned with DayZ, its an alpha and a dam good one, if you can read it shouldn't be surprising the way the game is right now.

Play on the tons of "DayZ" friendly servers.??? I personally don't know how people do that at this point in the SA. Such a huge dynamic of the game is removed.

I preferred Vanilla mod, but a lot of my buddies started playing Origins / Epoch so I joined them. Could barely find a Vanilla server towards the end of the mod when SA hit. Now they are all expecting SA to feature all the stuff from the mods, and they act like it isn't Dayz without safes full of weapons, castles, and infinite vehicles. Its kind of sad. I hope mods don't take over.

Nothing wrong with niche games. I wouldn't mind factions, but if not thats fine too. The grind? So in an unexpected apocalypse scenario you think you will walk outside and a crate of everything for need to survive for the next 6 months will just be waiting for you? If you don't enjoy the scavenging and searching aspect of DayZ, than its probably not for you. I personally love it i dunno. I stopped when I saw ENDGAME. Enough is enough with that phrase already. Yes its released in Alpha form as "early access", but realistically right now it's a stress test with a lot of features. Read up.

Don't care how old you are but, Younger players tend to be very annoying with coms / chat in any game. Not talking about their voices either, just they feel the need to tell everybody their life story and sound silly when they say Im going to light you up.

Any Antibiotics I have found have been either heli crashes or random, one was in an outhouse. Hit a hospital in Elektro yesterday to see if my buddy was lying and it was totally empty minus I think a couple bandages on the floor inside.

Im walking along in Cherno, new character so I got basically nothing. All of a sudden I get a slight lag spike and im pulling out the AS530 with the thermal sight or whatever it is, and I have a pack ive never seen full of pretty much everything. I DCd immediatly from the server but Ive never seen this before, wondering if anyone has encountered this. I dont frequent this much so if this is a known thing i apologize.

War Z is a MMORPG, Day Z is not. Fuck anything that offers items for real money, thats just nickle and diming the community and its rampant in gaming now. Content should be free, released in patches if you shelled out the dough for the game. DLC and micro transactions are fucking terrible ideas and a total ripoff.
