I was just wondering - I'm going to be using it for gaming and using NativeInstruments Traktor, so I can do some digital audio mixing. Would you recommend I consider getting more RAM, in this case? Would it make things run a lot more smooth? I'm aware that digital mixing can put a lot of strain onto computers... Sorry, not strictly a DayZ related question - but a lot of people here know about the functionality/importance of specific components if your using tracktor the best device is a hackintosh/mac, however using a pc adding an SSD which you already have increases the performance no end, it doesnt really need anymore more ram tbh 8gb is plenty, you might however want to add a beastly sound card such as this http://uk.asus.com/Multimedia/Audio_Cards/Xonar_Essence_STX/

that didnt really answer his question did it... you can report the server here but it sounds private all we can really do is avoid it, if she banned everyone on her server the likelihood of her getting a strong player base is next to nill, you should find another server.... (enter generic server which you may like here)

20-25 FPS the 650M is a nice card but its not great
-
as i said no lol
-
meh i would probs pick up another copy (i can get a copy of ultimate 64bit genuine OEM for £40) and stick with the 3570 thats just personal preference
-
i play on a £420 rig and i run ultra at 45-55 FPS granted i have post processing disabled. so no you don't need to spend $1000 on a gaming rig

What a good name -
A 7770 would suffice but I would go for a 7870 if you want a notable difference
-
he is right with the H61 you cannot overclock may as well just get a 3570 also changing the bios is risky you would be a hell of a lot better off getting a new mbo
-
nice mate i like to see stuff thats been upgraded and i haven't seen before. Unfortunately ArmA 2 and DayZ even more so is highly cpu intensive without getting to 2.9-3.0ghz mark you are going to struggle to get that 40+ fps.
-
WHAT HAVE I DONE!!!! THAT SOUNDS AMAZING
-
DayZ commander is an RTS version of the popular ArmA II mod "DayZ" you play the role as a survivor base camp leader and try to scavenge for food, water and weapons. All the time vying for power against the rival bandit leader. The game is similar to the immensely popular Company of Hero's franchise developed by THQ.

gpu bottleneck the HD4300 is SHOCKING also i believe the cpu is only a dual core
-
as was I, muffy why are you capitalising every word?
-
definitely a good upgrade but your gpu will bottleneck it slightly not really enough to be worried about but you wont be able to get into the 50's
-
what an interesting set up what made you decide to go for a server cpu? you will be restricted on an OC on that cpu which would be the obvious thing to do to increase your relatively low clock speed, if you water cool it, it will get to about 2.9ghz which for the investment is not really a good enough option, air cooled OC will not be effective at all. I need to do a bit more research then i'll get back to you

no

jesus criest is that 20 barracks in the middle of the AF? -
yes but on low at about 10 FPS. So in other words no i can't find any decent benchmarks for the 7400M but your CPU is slow aim to get closer to the 3.0ghz mark
