To OP, your cpu is weaksauce, not much you can do with it, other than buy new & start again, sorry.

Lol, of course it's hardware, it's not an issue other than you need a very fast cpu to run the game well, Arma2 is a cpu hog, anyone that has been playing the Arma series knows this, nubs do not, nubs need to ask questions to get themselve's educated, who r u, the net polizi? Btw, your cpu is the problem.

CPU is everything in Arma2, i have an old 8800GTX running it with a Q9550 @ 3.3ghz & game runs beautifully, if i swap it out with my 560ti from another rig performance is exactly the same.

Snuck up behind 2 players in the dark @ the Airstrip near balota, chopped em both up good with my axe before they had chance to react, bags & bags of nice goodies they had, they must have been gutted ;) I kill everyone i meet except for buddies, been burned too many times by othe players who pretend to be friendly, so now i just kill everyone.

Any settings u adjust in singleplayer are allmost irrelevant as THE SERVER determines all graphical settings except for resolution, this game is a CPU hog not graphics, u need at least a 3ghz quad to get the best from it & i'm not talking AMD here people. Also the highest ping/lagger on the server will cause others to drop frames, find servers with pings below 50, stay away from servers with a ping any higher.

Hi, sometimes if i leave a server & go to another one the next day my character has lost some equipment or is completely different. But... If i go back to the original server my character is as it should be. So is this normal? Should my character be the same across all servers? Thanks.

It won't improve your fps anyway by enabling it, OA engine is a cpu hungry beast.

It's a server side bug, some servers take 10 mins to load in, 9/10 it loads eventually. Other servers are better/faster but it's pure luck mostly, if you server hop seems to be worse.
