Well I don't know about 250 pings but currently we are in Germany and my Friends are all still in the US, so I usually play on US servers, and my ping is between 120 and 170 and I don't notice much difference between then and when I play on European servers with 20 ping. Now occasionally yes I get the wtf I shot them first many times and then 1 hit and I'm dead, but since usually this game is about positioning and knowing when to strike when you have the advantage I Honestly really don't have many issues

1. Optimization of the client 2. Shorter day/night cycles I work all day, so only play at night, and I would like to see the game in colours other than black and grey. Nothing insane like 20 min cycles but something like 6 hour cycles so one day I play its all night the next it would be all day There other other things I would add but since this is the first update need to be realistic I think the optimization alone would take all the time

Agreed it is intense but you just don't want it were depending on when you play or where you are that you always play in either day or night, I think that would get boring quickly for players and the key for the games success is to keep as many players entertained for as long as possible

here is the thing, I like the night and I hope that it is kept in the game, it makes things like the flares, flashlights, night vision useful as well as add an element of horror to the game that you don't get during the day. It is part of human instinct to be afraid of the dark, dark usually meant getting eaten by a lion. That being said you want the game to be successful, and as some one else stated they want to see the graphics, most people work or have school and cannot play during the day, night time some of the time can be fun, night time every time I play would not be fun. For that matter there may be people who only play during the day and would like to see the night too, that would suck for them as well. Honestly the best way would be a 6 hour cycle so even if you played the same time each day, every other day you would be playing the opposite, 1 day night the next day, that would be the most fair system. But to expect that if its night out for you it will be night will get old quickly, most people can only play in the evening, and having a PC with a high end graphics card would get pretty tiring if all it ever did was render black and grey

See I don't think it should be a choice where you can just hop between servers too stay in daylight, that defeats a lot of the survival aspects, in truth I also wish there was a way to prevent people from just cranking up the gamma to get around it. I think a day\night cycle of 6 hours would be best. That way even if you play at the same time each day, every days you get the opposite of what you had before. This way people who always play late at night will get to play in daylight and vice versa The only thing I hate about the night which is why I hope the cycle is not a full 12 hours is so I can see the graphics in all their glory. But if your playing DayZ with 24/7 day your not playing dayz, may as well just add a gun and unlimited food and drink so you can play what you really want which is COD with zombies. P.S. The you is not meant as you specifically more of a global you for all those who would want 24/7 day

Here is the thing there is a difference between: The game has some flaws such as A, B, C and here are some suggestions to improve and This game sucks I can't believe its $30 dollars I want a refund, there are so many better mods out there wah wah wah wah Waaaaaaaaa One is criticism the other is whining.
