Hi, I play with my brother (room for 2?) I am 22 Playing DayZ for about a month From UK Use TS3 to communcate AJ

Yeah I don't get why people keep suggesting monsters or RPG/MMO/FPS (L4D) style "Zombies" in what is a realistic survival simulator.... *FACEPALM* AJ

I found it a few times, if you are at the airfield head back towards coast then run to your left in the tree line, you will eventually see it, but watch out for zeds in forest, in my experience the deer stands there don't yield anything good :( AJ P.S. use an online interactive map for first couple plays to get an idea of places then never use it again for more fun :D

I like this idea, one character to PVP one for PVE non-transferable. But tbh I can never see that happening, I like PVP aspect but sometime's I would like to just run around a forest with a hatchet killing wildlife without getting shot in the eyeball :( AJ

My first axe murder was an axe duel in balota airfield :D I won but had 1000 blood left >.< AJ

Hi and welcome to hell! Ok lets see... Crossbow:- .Very good at taking out zeds quietly but if you spook more then one your a gonner unless you can get into a building .Slow reload .1 bolt takes up 1 item slot and does not stack (stupid IMO) .Can recover ammo but in my experiance 40-50% of time glitches out. .Can only recover ammo by hovering over where you shot (very hard when Cross hair (CH) is off. .Ammo is scarce, but using it right you can last on 1-2 bolts .Hard to impossible to aim with :S Silent Guns:- M9SD Pistol MP5SD M4A1 camo SD .Generally quite weak except M4A1 .Ammo is super rare (uses silent ammo...WTF?) .IMO Wouldn't recommend Silent Melee:- Hatchet .Weak can kill between 1-10 hits (random) .has to reload...lol (10,000 swings though :D) .Find near enough anywhere .my advice...Spawn>Find hatchet> Use until die to get used to using a hatchet and get a feel for its range> Become a Viking god ;) .Can attach to toolbelt so can have a primary and hatchet and swap out to get silent kills in buildings. As far as I am aware knife can not be used in melee and if it can I haven't found how to. Footsteps:- .Not sure if glitch but... .holding W or S and either A or D (walk sideways) seems to produce no sound while (only) crouch walking. Hope that helps :) AJ

Just as the title suggest.... Is there any thoughts on making zombies attack animals, this could be feasible because as the human population falls wildlife and livestock would become the new main meals for zombies? This could result in the meat from the dead cow you just found be infected and cause pains or sickness ect ect? Just a thought... AJ P.S. If already posted please link :) Thanks

Yeah animal's are pretty rare I know, but I have seen a zombie standing there with chicken(s) happily bouncing around it. Maybe something if it ever goes stand alone?? AJ

Good idea, was thinking this myself! hopefully someone takes note in the future :) This would affect zombies as well with Winter being the worst for them:- Winter - .Slow movement speed .Increased hearing due to crunching snow .Falling down on ice ???????????????? AJ

I hatched a guy in the dark before because I thought he was a zombie running at me, felt pretty bad untill I noticed he had an m16 with 5 clips and lots of food n water...first and only time I was on a dark server :D AJ

I never seen this before if it is in the game then good :D I think zombifaction could eventually come into the game but tbh that spawn rate and amount of zed's is already pretty massive? Maybe the only thing this could stop is guarding your dead mates body while he comes and collects it, if he turns into a zombie within 1-2 minutes?? Good thought though :D AJ

Yeah I agree, maybe have it like a symbol that fades like on the socom games? once you tap the set key it highlights in a white human figure to show a running or walking stance? or even just a small text pop-up at bottom left, out of the way but not so much you miss it? maybe make it linger for 2-3 seconds for the slow players out there? AJ

Could work, i'm sure Rocket and the team could create specific servers for such things? Move this to suggestions and try n get Rockets Attention :) Nice idea dude! AJ

I think this should be expanded on, not with added weapons but more of a defensive style vehicle... What I mean is you have a bus, buses are bullet magnet's so add some 3-4" thick plating might help in the matter, but if you got a guy's shooting at you with a couple of ak's or m16's you would stand a better chance. Your could add plating over the wheel arches to protect tyres, block up the windows to protect passengers, creating slotted front view so can still see but with limited viewing like a long thing strip cut into the metal, a ram or *hunk of metal* bolted to the front to remove those pesky zeds from the roads or if your good get that player that's been shooting at you, this would also protect the engine from certain angles. Being heavier would also mean using more fuel as it would take more engine power to move it and obviously would go slower. These plates could be looted from only sheds (corrugated metal) or dismantling destroyed military vehicles, you could dismantle the tank traps into 2-4 iron/steel slabs, barbed wire to put around the outside, basically a mobile fortress but with no offensive capabilities. Like everything though you would have to keep it repaired or it could fall of mid drive due to rust or decaying parts? Thanks for the read :) AJ
