You have to remember melee is new to ARMA engine and is flawed to shit.... stand-a-lone maybe be in it? I just want to pick up a branch and break skulls ^^

I think Uncle Bourbon had a nasty encounter with torches in his younger days.... I been saying torches would be a good addition to this game for months...so I agree with you Hulahuga. In terms of a weapon It could be but make it much less powerful and being made of wood, well it would break after enough skull bashing O.o I dont see how adding a torch removes the use of matches and camp fires...you try cooking a 6oz steak using a fucking torch you moron... enjoy your black fingers after.... EDIT:- I guess you could put it on the floor or something n cook it that way...still take forever though ^^ Good thought...honestly I cant see it in game... but would like too :) AJ

Such a good read!! I agree 10000000% with this, I used to be in the army using the SA80 at 100-500m on the range and its true about everything you said! I dont claim to know anything about the maths behind it or anything like that, but when you got a 10mph wind blowing across the range you know you cant just fire straight!! Cant agree more with your Crysis statement...Crysis (1) was my all time favourite FPS and the reason i got into PC building!! when Crysis 2 came out I was so excited...then heard about console release and was like erm ok I will give it a go (Xbox 360 Demo) and frankly I almost cried at how simple it was to the point of I thought the game had been lobotomised.... Warhead was ok aswel I guess, I am just hoping Crysis 3 will excel ^^ But overall yes I think a game like this needs to stick to PC and PC only as it is far to deep for any console at the present time to handle... Just my two pennys :D AJ -
Firstly its a MOD of a game so expect shit like this... Alpha blah blah... :P Try these... Check V-sync on/off Update graphic drivers fiddle with graphics in game and out roll back (assuming you have dayz commander) the updates re-install everything cry... ;) AJ

If you log off when in shock or within 5-10minutes of shock it does this...kinda like a penalty for alt+f4 or server hoppers... AJ

Not sure what to think of this, I do agree with the loot being cut down in general, but reading through it you say more people should = more/better loot...surely that should be the opposite way round? Not sure how the loot spawns 100% works but I know its pretty random and like you said 15min from new spawn you can get geared up but other times you can be 1-2 hours without so much as a hatchet... in my opinion I think the loot spawn should be decreased in general by 75-50% over all servers no matter of population. Who knows, guess will have to wait until stand-a-lone :) Nice thoughts and a decent read :) AJ -
You can increase your brightness and gamma to 2.0 which will make it look like black and white thermo (think ac-130 level on CoD) or get dayz commander and play on day servers? AJ

Well yeah, the double barrel has two separate triggers so would make sense to add it into game :D Zombie parts....Zombie parts everywhere \o/

Bit harsh lol but in the end it survival of the fittest...he was at fault for letting you walk behind him... I always make people with weapons walk in front, and only with voice coms....and make them aim weapon down, if they raise it while looking at me I blow there head off... You was in need of stuff, you saw your chance and took it...not very pretty but that's DayZ for you...and you will do it in the future :) AJ

Ok so I have seen both skins and must say the Hero does look pretty good and have seen you get a kevlar body armour? Does this give the hero extra protection or is it just aesthetics? The bandit gets a head scarf... so erm.... like super brain thinking scarf? O.o Anyone got a legit answer/video/link to other post about this? Thanks in advance. AJ

Ok so I am getting this message from DayZ Commander after installing 1.7.2.5 "FILE HOST NOT RESPONDING" Any ideas what to do? Thanks AJ

Yeah thats what I did and it screwed it up lol Just re-installed and its working fine now...well untill I try n log on i guess I will have to see, thanks for quick reply :) AJ

Tried it and keeps going wrong, going to re-install is and hope for the best now my DayZ commander is just stuck on "Downloading"
