Greetings all, I'm looking for the best way to clean my H212x EVO radiator. I've found that just simply blowing compressed air into it doesnt clean it enough, there is still dust stuck to it. Any ideas/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Rabid.

Thanks for the Ideas guys, I'm currently working with an NZXT Phantom case, so room isnt really an issue. I thinks its about time for the thermal paste to be replaced so I'll do that while im at it. Again, I appreciate the help! Rabid.

I'll have a look at it all again, make sure everything is plugged in well and truely etc etc. Thanks for the help Diddums, and the rest. greatly appreciate it! EDIT: Been researching around, looking at other people with the ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 mobo, and it seems they only get a beep when there is a problem or they press Del to enter BIOS. otherwise it is quiet.

On start-up, there are no beeps at all. When it resets itself, it's like the reset button was just hit. No blue screen or anything. just resets randomly. Might give a computer tech store a call and see what they think.

just ran the tests. CPU peaked at 43 degrees/c, 0 warnings or issues. GPU peaked at 78 degrees/c. both 10 min tests.

Went to ddo it last night, but a damn possum hit th transformer and my entire block lost power. >:(

Already done MemTest through Windows. Will try the rest out though. RAM sticks are in the correct places, same with cables. I was being very careful when putting it together, I spent from 8am - 7pm doing it slowly.

screen grab from SpeedFan, shortly after starting the comp up:

Yes, all the components are brand new.

I'll try that when I get home, stuck at work right now. Edit: pretty sure I can access the fan speeds/temps from the bios as well

I have the top and rear fan blowing air out of the case, the cpu fan pulling air from the front area of the case, and the two smaller side fans both blowing air into the case (NZXT Phantom if you were wondering). GPU fan faces away from the CPU down towards PSU (no other spot to mount the PSU/GPU really). If needed, I do still have 2 spots that I can mount 200mm fans on the top and side.

I only just put the Cooler master CPU cooler on. Before I was using the cooler that came with the cpu and had the same problem. As for Air flow, the case has 4 fans running so it shouldn't be an issue. Also yes this is my first build. EDIT: I should also note that since putting on this new cooler it isnt happening as much as before

I dont know why the streamers dont add a delay to the stream. I know its possible as I'm an editor for a streamer and I have the ability to put a delay on the stream. I understand alot of them like to interact with the chat, but if ou dont want to get continually stream sniped then its a sacrifice you have to make. Besides you can still interact, the chat just gets a very delayed reply. Just put a 2-5 minute delay and the info/location that the stream snipers have is always old and not as accurate, which gives the streamer more of a chance against them.

So I'm finally building a desktop pc to replace my dying laptop and I'm wondering how can I clone all the files from my laptop harddrive onto my desktop harddrive? I am buying a copy of Windows 7 to install onto the desktops SSD, so I just need to move all the other files (and keep my desktop intact if possible?), so I dont have to go reinstalling games etc. Is it possible to do so? if so, how? any help is greatly appreciated! Rabid.

Landing a heli in first person isnt all that hard, you just have to keep and eye out and be aware of your surroundings. I used to always fly in 3rd person, but after watching Dyslexci's Art of Flight videos, I gave first person a try (same with infantry) and I loved it. The immersion level increased 10 fold. Landing in first person just takes practice. I love flying in first person, sure it can be hard when you have to look around without using TIR5 or something but its still brilliant! Also, the only time I use 3rd person is when running through an open field/long distance, purely because I have to aim my camera down towards the ground a bit to increase my FPS due to playing on a laptop. once a get my new comp it will be first person the entire time. -
Thanks for the help. Rabid

I had that lost moment recently, I spawned in Novy but didnt recognise it at all at night I ended up running straight north up the road for 20 min, then turned right, hit Gorka which I noticed from the large monument thing there ,as well as the sign leading out, I recognised as the one for Novy. By the time I was nearing Novy again I thought "wait....I've been here recently...I spawned here....god damnit!" Headed to Stary and passed out shortly after never to wake again.

I dont mean to spur anything on, but you said you dont approve of sniper camping, How is a sniper supposed to play then? I admit techically they shouldnt stay in one spot after more than 2 shots, but 95% of a snipers role (if your talking about a real sniper) is essentially camping in an observation post, sometimes for hours or days, sometimes even up to a week at a time and watching, waiting and sending info back to a larger force and, on few occasions actually eliminate a target of opportunity such as a commander, nco etc etc. How this relates to DayZ? Sure the sniper may not have a 'large force' to deliver info to, but they can have clan mates. The same rules apply here, they shouldnt remain in the same spot for more than 2 shots, more than that and people tend to hear where the shot is coming from and start searching that area. In saying all that though, this is a game and people are free to play however they want, no one has to agree with another persons play style, there is no 'correct' way to play this game. Rabid. p.s. also I dont snipe in game much, I just read up alot on things that interest me.

Can someone reccommend a motherboard for this system? It turns out the the MSI Z77A G45 I had planned is now discontinued. Someone suggested a Z87x mobo but they are on an 1150 socket while my CPU is 1155. I'm currently looking at this mobo, thoughts please?: mobo: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/part/asrock-motherboard-z77extreme4 Current build: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/2mZz8

Can anyone tell me if there are any incompatabilities or anything to be wary of in this build I put together? http://au.pcpartpicker.com/user/rabidgerbil/saved/2t5j

Might want to split it up into paragraphs so its not one huge wall of text, apart from that, good story.
